i do like the Transformers: Classics comics using it/its for Primus. there's something majestic abt referring to God this way especially given that this is the franchise that created an alien race that's 99% men purely for sexism reasons then pretended they didn't do that

writing this fic makes me feel like i'm covered in blood. not my blood. it's a lot and it's soaked through my clothes and it's dripping from my hair but i've got this look in my eyes like "let's get this over with." this fic is nearly over but the larger story is not but i'm definitely going to be taking a break from this AU after this is complete. well. probably. 50/50. maybe taking a break. i'll see what my ADHD has to say about it

G1 Megashock movie AU where Shockwave somehow shows up in time to stop Unicron reformatting him and pledges to destroy the Matrix instead. the events of the movie play out basically the same. afterward when they're on Chaar everyone believes Megatron to be dead, when he's really in a coma in Shockwave's lab, unable to be repaired bc of their lack of resources and being kept hidden bc Starscream is still alive and who knows who else might want to kill him in his weakened state.

except this is also just a ruse Shockwave tells Soundwave to get his cooperation. he's actually keeping Megatron drugged bc he now believes the only way to keep his precious leader alive is to hold him prisoner, like a bird in a cage.

i keep having dreams about Galvatron trapped in permafrost or inside flooded caves and i have to rescue him and hook him up to life support machines in what i guess narratively is my house but it looks like a fallout bunker or a missile silo
