Thanks, love. [Smiles and kisses her before heading downstairs. Once he’s downstairs, he grabs his wallet and answers the door to the delivery guy. After he pays and tips the delivery guy, he takes the food and sets the dinner table up with two plates, two wine glasses, and a candle. To top everything off, he pours cabernet into their wine glasses, and then takes his phone out to call Ellie] Miss soon-to-be Fuentes? Your romantic night awaits.

{As Dominic busies himself with whatever his plan may be, Ellie paces around upstairs, feeling oddly nervous. She shouldn’t, not at all. But this was Ellie, she was the kind of person who needed to know everything and have everything planned out. And of course, she trusted Dom with her life, but it was killing her inside to hear movement and not know what was going on. By the time her phone rang, she’d fought herself many times on sneaking a peak. But she waits and goes down when she’s summoned, trying to be rational with her pace, to see what awaits her. Upon seeing the dinner that awaits her, her eyes go big and immediately the girl is lost in a fit of childish, excited giggles.} Oh my God, Dom... This is... You didn’t have to... I... Just.. Wow..

{Ellie turns around at the sound of his voice, beaming at him with a light blush.} Thank you, Dom. {She finishes her makeup as he comes out, where she turns around so look up at him with a big smile, where she stands up and walks over to him.} You look incredible, babe.

[Smiles wide] No, there’s no unspoken rule. Just go find a pretty dress. You’ll see what the plans are soon enough. [Kisses her and watches her go up the stairs. As soon as she’s in their bedroom, he opens a packet of baby food and applesauce for Mikey. While Mikey’s eating, he calls and orders Chinese takeout and gets all their favorites. As soon as Mikey’s done, he cleans him up and takes him to his nursery to get ready to lie down and relax] Your mom’s gonna’ be real surprised, Mikey.

{Ellie laughs in defeat, shaking her head.} Okay, alright. {Her smile stays unwiped as she disappears into the bedroom. She quickly scans through her dresses, then again, and again, and again. She had no idea what Dom was planning, she wasn’t known for picking things up all that quickly. So, in the same sense, she also had no idea what was actually appropriate for whatever the occasion was. It took her a while, but she finally decides on a simple white dress, presentable but nothing major. She gets it mostly zipped up, though it remains just out of reach, where she gives up. Unsure if she was supposed to go down or not, she decides to kill time by doing her makeup, still completely clueless as to what she was supposed to be doing or what the surprise called for.}

[Goes to the other room to call Jackson, then comes back to Ellie] No such luck. Jackson has to work til’ closing tonight. But I think I have an idea… [Smiles and kisses Ellie’s forehead] Can you do me a favor, love? Go upstairs and find on your best dress, I’ll be close behind you. We’re going to have fancy romantic dinner tonight, one way or another.

{Ellie tilts her head with a confused smile on her face, not entirely understanding his request.} Uh... Yeah, sure, I guess. Is there anything special that I need to know before getting all dolled up? Or is this up for interpretation? Remember, your fiance happens to be extremely oblivious.
