Hi just wanted to say I love the demo so far! The different branches with the career choices and personalities are peak! And how S tries to use the MC to further their career in the newest chapter- ew but so realistic. Also I can’t wait to see C actually start to befriend/romance/respect MC further on down the line in their fake dating relationship.
But here’s my real problem - how is my workaholic model MC supposed to carry a fake relationship with C when R is right there- being hot and sleep deprived and smart and put together?! And their discussion on the rooftop bar in chapter 1 where R is like “get it together, you can get through not dating anyone else for a few months.” Oh really now. Ok then, sure buddy. How’s that gonna work when R starts to like MC back and also has to deal with the fake dating story? 👀 Coco’s gonna flip out on them both lmao. 😅
Also, how old is the MC supposed to be? Did I miss it?
Hiii! You didn't miss a thing! I haven't explicitly stated the MC's exact age in the game, but given their background and career history, you can picture them being in their late twenties. I might do a separate post breaking down the timeline when I get a chance!
As for your real problem... I'm afraid I can't help you there, hahaha. In fact, I might just make things even harder for you down the line... sorry not sorry! 🤭

Just played this for the first time and really enjoyed! Definitely going to romance either C or N, just don't know which... The MC and Cs dynamic is so fun even with the MC planning to be profession, C makes a terrible first impression! So any chance to playfully get under their skin lmao. And the video call convo was fun (also so awkard inviting C to the play, lmao).
Meanwhile the dynamic with N is also great, since my MC is a fading legend. Interesting interacts between someone so new and rising in the industry and someone already pretty jaded. Makes me very worried about N! Coco is right, they are to soft for this busines...
I will have to replay with the different convos! Great credit to you that fading legend actor seemed to so totally fit and established such an interesting dynamic with everyone!

Loved the ending lol. I loved that there's a choice to completely disregard the implications of suddenly having the thing you were bidding on the auction. My character just went "HELL YEAH, MY CROWN JUST AS I DESERVE."

She is really nice, kind, and funny, and I'm sure we're going to be besties! But... are you sure she's dating Sutton? They didn't really give me that impression... they were even sitting at different tables! But, well, you never know! In any case, I'm really happy to have met them both!

Dare I say it, Sutton is growing on me. Like a fungus. Regrettably, so is Cross. They were such a cutie in that flash back, but now I can see where that insecurity comes from :(. However Ruby remains my favourite so far. I love all their respective scenes this update!
I played as the up-and-coming singer and I'm really liking this route! The little flash back from early in their career of their first time singing was really nice! Meeting the fans is lovely too!

As for the jealousy, yes! You will absolutely have the chance to make Sutton (and other ROs) jealous in the future. You can, of course, romance more than one RO at the same time (we don't judge here!), but… remember: the press is really interested in your love life, and you do have an official partner… 😉🤫

1. When and how did you get into acting?
Sutton: I wasn't one of those kids putting on plays in the living room. When I was a teenager, I just needed some extra cash, and a friend told me a local production needed extras. I went for the twenty bucks and the free catering. Somehow, that led to an audition, and I landed my first actual role with lines in a show called The Academy when I was seventeen. After that, I spent a few years doing some truly terrible B-movies where I ran away from bad CGI monsters all day. Then, one thing led to another, and I got the opportunity to be in The Last Sunset. That movie changed everything, and it just snowballed from there.
2. Do you tend to prefer certain genres or roles for acting? Are there roles you would like to try despite likely being typecasted (i assume)?
Sutton: Don't get me wrong, I'm immensely grateful for the sci-fi franchise. But after a couple of years of saving the galaxy and playing the ultimate moral compass, you get a little exhausted of being the 'good guy'. If I could choose right now I'd love to play an absolutely unhinged villain. Someone with terrible motives who doesn't have to apologize for anything. Being the bad guy sounds like incredible therapy.
3. Do you like watching any particular genre or franchise of movies?
Sutton: If you ask me in a press interview, I'll tell you I'm a high-fantasy purist and that watching the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings is a mandatory annual event. But if I'm being completely honest? My real lifesaver when my brain is completely fried is comedy. It just puts me in a good mood instantly.
4. What do you like to do at home for fun or relaxation?
Sutton: I try to stay active, so I play a lot of padel. But if we're talking about really disconnecting... swimming. I'm lucky enough to have a pool at home, and it's my ultimate refuge. There's something about going underwater that just shuts your brain off. No phones, no cameras, not even ambient noise. You can't find that level of absolute silence anywhere else in LA. It's the only time of the day when the outside world literally ceases to exist.
5. If not for the scripted coffee date with MC, what would be your ideal date or first date?
Sutton: Honestly, the place or the activity doesn't really matter to me if I'm with the right person. But realistically speaking, my ideal first date would have to be at my place, or theirs. Just ordering takeout and actually talking. The second we step foot in a restaurant, someone is going to pull out a phone or ask for a picture, and the magic is completely gone. I just want privacy.

Uhm, yes, I've had two serious relationships before, but... I work a lot, and that gets in the way, apparently. And it's not that I'm actively thinking about marriage or anything, but I don't really do flings. So, when I start a relationship, I'm serious about it. Does that answer your question? 🙈❤️
Just finished the latest chapter, and I have some thoughts.
The good:
Singer MC who also plays an instrument. 10/10. Love it. 🤌
The scene at the screening with Cross and the reporter is so simple yet so effective in making the whole situation with them more nuanced than just "oh they used me". 🤌
Needling Sutton. Getting needled back. 🤌
The not-so-good:
I'm a little miffed that the F!MC defaults to wearing a dress for the screening. I know this is a PITA to code, especially in ChoiceScript due to how it breaks up the flow of the text. A compromise could be making it dependent on what you're wearing to the gala and having options for later scenes. But this is very much a complaint borne out of me hating traditional femininity being forced on me regardless of context.
The appearance options are a bit clunkily written, but it's a minor issue and gets the point across.
There were also pronoun errors with Cross (him instead of her), but I didn't think to get screenshots as I went. Mea culpa!
Overall: very much looking forward to future chapters and will definitely go through CH4 with other types of MCs. ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
