Until today, I didn’t realize how many stretch marks I had on my stomach. I’m not embarrassed or ashamed of them. They don’t hold me back from rocking a bikini or crop top or some lingerie.

The progress I’ve made recently has made them more visible to me since my stomach is getting smaller in size. But they aren’t as red as they used to be because guess what?! My skin isn’t being stretched anymore!!

I put on about 30lbs easily over a year, maybe even less. That’s the reasoning behind my stretch marks. They’re a symbol of me overcoming the darkest days (YEARS) of my life thus far.

They might not be pretty, but they’re a part of me and my journey to health, happiness, and peace of mind.
