You were laying in your bed caught up in your thoughts about life and it’s meaning, family, friends and yourself; everything you could possibly think about. It was warm in your room; one of those summer nights where the day was so hot, that even the endless darkness of the night couldn’t devour the heat, leaving you in a humid silence.
It was way too hot for a full set of pajamas and so you rested in your bed with nothing on but your underwear, your one leg lazily wrapped around your blanket, that partly covered the other leg and your chest. The blanket pressed to your chest as if you were cuddeling up to it, you felt so cozy and comfortable that you smiled to yourself.
The nightsky was dark and quiet, with a few stars sprinkled onto it like freckles over the cheeks of a smiling child, calm and magnetising. A soft breeze carressed your body and you covered a little more of your shivering body with your blanket until you felt so comfortable you would have liked to capture this moment, stuff it into an empty glass and keep it close to you, so you could remind yourself of the hypnotising silence of the night.
You mistook his cold fingers for the wind at first, grasping your waist ever so softly; until his grip tightened and he drew his body closer to yours.
Maybe it had been, because you were so caught up in the moment but really it was because the creature that just broke the magic of the moment could move as fast and quiet as the wind; a perfect predator on the hunt for his prey.
“Pssst…” Minho shut you up before a sound could escape your lips, not that you really knew what to say, because so many sudden questions were popping up in your head and -
He didn’t want you to loose the special feeling of the moment and so he stopped you from thinking too much about it as his hand was softly stroking your hair until your neck was exposed as looked so delicious like an invitation for him to bite down on and drain of all liquid.
“Don’t fight me and I will keep you alive.” he promised, voice low and left you no choice but to obey; you froze in that position and tried to fight off the fear; maybe you could get that special feeling back.
You were caught off guard by the way his body fit onto yours, while he was holding you, you felt comfortable and his body’s low temperature contrasted the warmth of your skin perfectly.
The short prick of his fangs when they softly slid into your flesh was overpowered by all of the impulses that been stimulating your sensory organs for the past minutes and the pleasure that followed the bite.
Your blood left your body in slow movements, that reminded you of small waves on the shore that got sucked into the sand, it didn’t even feel like he was sucking on your neck; more like the blood slowly flowed out of your body and into his anticipating mouth.
It was completely silent; nothing but the frightening sound of him gulping down your blood filled the room and occaisonally you breathing, when your patterns became inconsistent.
His cold thumb was caressing your cheeks, as he injected you his poison through his fangs, without you even realizing, that was numbing your body and softly incouraging you to close your eyes and fall into a deep dreamless sleep.
Minho closed the wound with a soft lick over your neck and drew your sleeping body even closer to his, before carefully lifting you into his arms. “You’re mine now, forever.”
