The 100 Things That Castle Has Taught Me

1. That there’s always a story, always a chain of events that makes everything make sense. You just have to find it. 2. That it’s better sometimes to simply apologize than to try and make excuses. 3. When trying to defuse a bomb, just pull all the wires, because one of them is bound to be the right one. 4. That scrabble is a dangerous game to play. 5. That the most worthwhile things in life are often the most difficult. 6. To follow your heart, follow you heart and you can’t go wrong. 7. That if two people believe in something, really believe, anything, even the impossible, is possible. 8. That relationships aren’t math problems. You can’t solve them by being rational. 9. That rejection isn’t failure. Failure is giving up. 10. That money doesn’t change who we are, it just magnifies our personality. 11. To believe in magic. Because if you don’t believe in the possibility of magic, you’ll never ever find it. 12. To not give up. Because that’s the deal. 13. That every love story has obstacles only the worthy can transcend. 14. That things usually don’t turn out well when the number 47 shows up. 15. Knowing that everything we do, every choice we make, every terrible and wonderful thing that happens to us. It all leads us to right here; this moment. 39. That we are bound by our choices. But we are more than our mistakes. 40. That the true love stories are all about beating the odds. 41. To be in it with the right person; because then the bubble will never burst. 42. That everything eventually ends. But there are those people who are so much a part of us, they will be with us no matter what. Because they are our solid ground, our North Star and the small clear voices that will be in our hearts. Always. 43. That there comes a point in our lives when we have to stop fooling ourselves, thinking life is going to be the way we want it to be, and start seeing things for how they really are. 48. That love isn’t a switch you can just turn off. 49. How to maneuver when you are handcuffed together. (You just have to find your rhythm) 50. To not let go. To not back down. To be extraordinary. 51. To not be so driven by the past that you throw away your future. 52. Don’t ruin the story with logic. 53. That we don’t have all the answers. We just have to live with the questions and find our way. 54. Everyone has walls. You just have to find the one your willing to break the walls down for. 55. Find the person who will stand with you. 56. That the third times a charm. 57. To never forget the Elephants; because they know all. 58. That John Woo movies make for a great date night; because the bloodier the better. 59. That when someone makes a bad movie choice in a relationship, you lose your turn. (Maybe more depending on how bad the choice) 60. To appreciate red wine. (Especially that special kind…) 61. To never sin by silence. It just hurts more than it protects. 62. To find that person who will always be there. Always 63. That every writer needs inspiration. 64. That sometimes there is no victory, only battles. 65. That being partners means you’re with them until the wheels fall off. 66. That family isn’t limited to blood. 67. That Javier is probably not the best name for a white Irish kid. 68. That deep fried twinkies aren’t always a good thing. 69. Chapter 10. Page 105. 70. That when the coffee starts to taste like a monkey peed in battery acid it’s probably time to get an espresso machine. 71. That the thing that attracts you to a person will always end up driving you crazy. 72. That you’re never too old for laser tag. (Just old enough to buy the best guns!) 73. When you hear a knock at the door late at night during a storm; answer it. It may just change your life. 74. That more than likely there is a reasonable explanation for everything. Although those just aren’t as fun. 75. Sometimes we must ask ourselves if we are willing to get over the pain of being hurt for what we want most. 76. To appreciate the everyday magic. 77. That the real test of true love is whether or not you would break them out of prison. 78. That the weather in California is always sunny, with a chance of ass kicking 79. That the heart wants what the heart wants. 80. That no matter how bad things get, it’s going to be okay because you have each other. 81. To find that person who will never stop believing you. Even when the story doesn’t make sense. 82. That the story is the secret ingredient. 83. To be a devout believer in the truth. Because the truth can never hurt you and is your weapon to yield. 84. Don’t chase ghosts. It’s not worth it. 85. That you never get over it but there comes a day when you wake up and realize you don’t mind carrying it around with you. 86. To introduce yourself to the guy in 8B first 87. That sometimes the annoying, self centered, egotistical, nine year old on a sugar rush (incapable of taking anything seriously) is exactly what we need. 88. How to plan the perfect surprise birthday party. 89. That the swings are the best part of any playground. 90. To always read the acknowledgements at the end of a book. (The best parts are probably in there) 91. All the words to Stop and Stare. 92. That when you can’t agree on a wedding venue. There’s always space. 93. The real meaning of handshakes. 94. That the chances of survival for the comic relief guy in horror movies is slim. 95. That holiday traditions are important but it’s also important to add new ones. 96. That pancakes are not just breakfast. 97. That the ‘70s were one great decade. 98. To appreciate book dedications. 99. That sometimes the best advice is unsolicited. 100. That he is her one. She is his done. Always.

Kate Beckett x Reader

Requested by anon : Could I request a fic with either Kate Beckett from Castle or Natasha from the Avengers? Whatever you’re in the mood to write with either is fine.

A/N thanks for your request! I haven’t written imagines of Castle so I decided to write Kate one! and thanks for lovely message :) I’m glad you like this blog!

Plot:Your Kate’s secret girlfriend and you’re going to have dinner with her tonight.

Words: 742

Her secret girlfriend

“Castle! Stop following me!” Kate said loudly.

“No until you tell me your plan of tonight” he said and smirked.

“I won’t tell you” she said coldly.

“So you have someone?” he asked smirking at you.

“Just go home now!” she said loudly and walked into the elevator alone.

Kate headed to her apartment to get ready for her plan of tonight. He dressed up like in 10 minutes and headed to the restaurant. As soon as he went in, she found her date and sat down on the table.

“Hey Y/N. I’m sorry I’m late” she said and smiled at you.

“No I just arrived” you said and smiled.

“So how’s your day?” you added.

“It’s been the same” she said and rolled her eyes.

“So Castle problem?” you asked.

She sometimes talked to you about Castle. You knew he liked secret.

“Yes but I managed to come though. So he doesn’t know about us” she said and kissed on your nose.

“Yeah I don’t want him to find out about us” you said.

“Me either. The last time I dated someone before you, he stalked me all that time and he disturbed us during our dinner! Ugh” she said and rolled her eyes.

You laughed slightly. You knew Castle was interested in Kate. But you didn’t care. Because she’s now yours and you’re hers.

“And today he said he would stalk me until I tell him about you!” she said.

“Kate let’s just stop talking about him and have dinner” you said and smiled.

“Yeah sorry” she said and ordered her dinner.

Your and her meals were already there so you started eating.

“I’m actually happy to be with you right now” she said and smiled.

“Me too Kate” you said.

“My job is stressful sometimes…..but being with you makes me happy and no one bothers us” she said.

“Yeah that’s a point” you said and laughed.

You grabbed the spoon and tried to eat meals before you noticed some men watching you. When you looked at them, they looked away. It’s so weird you thought. You looked down slowly and looked up quickly. Again they watched you.

“Kate it may be a misunderstanding but they’re watching us” you whispered to her.

“What? Really?” she said and turned back.

Suddenly her face became full of angers. She stood up and so did you. You both walked up to them quickly.

“What are you doing!?” she said loudly.

“We are….just….going to….have dinner together” he said.

“Hi” you said and smiled awkwardly.

“You must be Castle” you added.

“Yes and this is Ryan and Esposito” he said.

“Hello” you said and shook their hands.

“I can’t believe it! You too!?“Kate said loudly and pointed Ryan and Esposito.

"He asked us!” Esposito said and Ryan nodded.

“But you both wanted to join me!” Castle said and rolled his eyes.

“Anyway go away” Kate said coldly.

“Oh no Kate!” you stopped her.

Kate looked at you as if she said ‘seriously?’ Then you smiled and nodded. You thought it would be fun.

“Would you like to join us?” you asked them.

“Really? Can we?” Castle asked.

“Yes” you said and smiled.

“Thank you mis” Ryan said.

“Oh we still don’t know your name” he added.

“I’m Y/N Y/L/N” you said.

You asked one of the waiter to add more chairs and you all went back to your table. To be honest, it’s actually fun for you and you wanted to see her colleagues because she often told you about them. So you knew how much they meant for her.

“Y/N. You’re sure it’s fun?” she asked.

“Yeah how about you?” you asked her and smiled.

“Not so bad…..but I need to be alone with you” she whispered into your ear.

“Later tonight” you whispered into her ear and smirked.
