Just following up on the tags from my previous post:

I am horrified, disgusted, and extremely sad about the news coming out about Ansel Elgort. Even though I was a huge fan of him, he will NEVER again be seen on my blog. I will no longer post gif sets or photos that feature him in the fandoms I am apart of including TFIOS, Divergent, and Baby Driver.

I will always believe and support survivors.

ok but can you imagine being underaged and having your favorite celebrity groom and take advantage of you, and then needing to publicly share details about the event that traumatized you to millions of people, and then getting people sympathizing and siding with the man who did it to you because "hes hot" or "hes famous" or "you're a minor but not REALLY" its so disgusting and incredibly indicative of the fact we live in r*pe culture :/

that scene when doc notices baby notice the blood leaking out of the trunk is masterpiece theatre. baby driver has the rhythm of a comedy but that scene makes the audience realize this isnt a funny movie and forces them to re evaluate everything thats taken place up until then. movies are the most fun to watch when they force the audience to actively participate in the narrative and i think baby driver did an incredible job of that
