Chapter 5 of "Mother's Blossom" is here!🏹

Aloy’s voice floats through her focus. ‘Beta? What’s wrong? I thought you went to bed.’ ‘Mom’s gone!’ Beta blurts out. Aloy pauses. ‘What do you mean “gone”?’ ‘That’s what I said! I can't find her!’ Beta voice comes out fast. Elisabet is gone and it’s probably all her fault. Beta must have done something wrong. Offended her in some way, or… ‘Alright, hold on.’ Her sister says, stopping her from spiraling. ‘Let me try something.’ Beta looks up as an interface pops through to her focus. It’s a request to add the contact “Mother🌄” to their voice call. As it rings, Beta blinks upon hearing something odd nearby. She gets up, but the noise stops once the call disconnects. Before Aloy can say anything else, Beta takes her turn and rings “Mom🪷”. The noise happens again and this time Beta follows it into her mother’s room. Her stomach drops as she finally spies the source of the sound. Elisabet’s focus is lying there on the nightstand. Vibrating silently in response to the incoming call.

Chapter 4! HEPHAESTUS and Plowhorns, oh my!🏹

‘Confirming that the acquisition of subordinate function HEPHAESTUS has been completed.’ GAIA’s voice rings, sounding pleased. ‘Finally!’ Erend flourishes his hammer. ‘We’ve got that thing under control!’ ‘Yes.’ Zo concurs. ‘And I imagine HEPHAESTUS will be reinstated in no time at all.’ ‘Should only take about a week or two.’ Elisabet puts the purple kernel safely away into her satchel. ‘But for now, I have something else in mind.' Elisabet steps down from the core pedestal to approach a fallen machine. Its body is limp, and a layer of dust surrounds it on the floor. It’s clear that these remains have been here for some time, and when Beta sees Zo’s expression falter, she remembers who exactly this machine must be. Fa. The Land God that Aloy, Varl and Zo felled here. ‘Zo…’ Elisabet calls to her as she puts a hand onto the fallen machine. The Utaru huntress walks over, saying nothing. ‘If you would permit me…’ Is all Elisabet says. ‘You could…?’ Zo is hesitant. ‘You can…?’ ‘I will.’
