Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me the connection between Hangeng and UNIQ and how much of an involvement he had in the group? And anything else you feel I should know. Thank you!

Hmmm, from what I know, in a way, UNIQ sort of wouldn’t exist without Han Geng? He’s one of Yue Hua Entertainment’s biggest stockholders, so he has decision-making power in the company and is more than just one of its contracted artists.

I remember in some interviews with Du Hua (Yue Hua’s founder/CEO), she talked about how in 2010, she had planned on having the company branch out into the U.S., but it was Han Geng who convinced her to instead invest in ventures in South Korea and to work on Chinese-Korean collaborations. That was when they made a branch office in South Korea for trainees and reached out to other S. Korean companies (e.g. YG) for collaborations and help with training. If you look inside Yue Hua’s branch office in South Korea, you can see posters/albums of both YH and YG artists, showing that there’s definitely a strong relationship between the two in terms of how they’re planning on promoting one another in the future.

I don’t think Han Geng necessarily handpicked UNIQ’s members, but it was his idea to form these Chinese-Korean collaborations. He’s had some kind of relationship with the members ever since they were trainees (they were even backup dancers at his concerts), and would at least visit them from time to time to check up on how they were doing. YIxuan and Wenhan have also said in some interviews that they’re thankful that Han Geng’s been looking out for them.

That’s about all I know since Yue Hua’s been pretty good at being stealthy and surprising everyone. I hope Han Geng and UNIQ get to do more things together in the future!

As I’m still pretty much new to Kingdom Hearts I didn’t quite get to learn the “don’t ask questions and don’t read too much into things if you don’t want your head to hurt” rule yet. So this happened.

I was curious whether the symbols that fly everywhere from keyblade hits mean anything. I took these pretty flowers that Ven’s keyblade emits,

tried to research a bit, and found these little guys.

They are called аnemones. The name “аnemone” derives from a greek word “аνεμος” which translates to “wind”, because of course it does. The flower meaning includes such fun stuff as: - transience of life and it’s fragility; - sadness in love, loss and grief; - remembrance; - protection against evil; - purity and innocence; - hope and anticipation for better times to come.

Anemone is also the emblem of Hypnos, the god of sleep, and Morpheus, the god of dreams.

Moreover, in Greek mythology, anemones became a symbol of the death of Adonis. According to legend, Adonis, a young man of incomparable beauty and charm, was attracted to two goddesses at the same time: Persephone (a goddess that got trapped in the underworld? wonder if I saw something similar somewhere else) and Aphrodite. The goddess Artemis, the protector of chastity, found out about this and sent a wild boar to hunt Adonis. At the command of Aphrodite, where her tears and the blood of Adonis fell to the ground, flowers rose. Aphrodite’s tears became аnemones, and from the blood came flowers that were named after Adonis.

The adonis flowers are usually red or orange,

but there are also types that are yellow with a green center.

Kinda like the flowers from Terra’s keyblade?

Here’s the meaning for adonis: - determination, bold initiative and lack of caution; - sorrowful memories and painful recollection; - longing; - male beauty.

It’s also very curious that this flower has a property of slowing and accelerating heart rate. It’s used in making medicine for heart conditions and insomnia.

Now back to Persephone and the most obvious Aqua parallel. I went and checked what symbols Aqua’s Rainfell keyblade produces and

to me this stuff resembles daffodils.

Daffodils (or narcissus) are often associated with Persephone as she was taken away while gathering them. The name “narcissus” derives from greek word “nάρκ” that means “numbness”. These flowers were planted on graves and symbolize the numbness of death, but of a death which is perhaps no more than a sleep.

Other meanings of the flower are: - youth; - conceit; - false hopes; - rebirth and new beginnings.

In other words, I’ll have what Nomura is having, thank you.

Okay, I feel like I need to address some points about my feelings towards the Hyuga Clan.

((These are the Mun’s opinions))

1. I don’t hate Hinata necessarily. I hate her poor writing and her downfall of character in Shippuden. Being a female myself, I looked up to her as a role model before, but later on all she became was fan service.

2. Yes, I agree there needs to be more done about the Main branch. I believe more action should be taken against the Hyuga elder and some repercussion towards Hiashi. Hiashi did do bad things, I think we can all agree, but what he did in his youth was because of ignorance and lack of power over the elder.

3. If you’re familiar with WW II, after the Japanese-American internment camp prisoners were released, they were paid reparations. I think some sort of thing should be done to make up for all the horrors that the side branch had to endure.

Idea for reparations: I know a sum of money is what most people have in mind, I might agree to that. However, I think the most important thing would be to give educational access to the side branch. The Hyuga text should be step one. You wouldn’t need to give the side branch curse marks if you taught them how to defend themselves in the first place. So ACTUALLY TEACH them the rotation and all other techniques that can save their lives. Don’t leave them out to die like they’re nothing.

4. THE HIDDEN CLOUD VILLAGE NEEDS TO BE PUT ON TRIAL. I don’t know why this has never been addressed, but the Hidden Cloud is also to blame for problems in the village. I get it, war could’ve occurred if not for Hizashi’s sacrifice, but Hiashi killed the members of the Cloud Village because they were the aggressors first. The Cloud even tried to kidnap Kashina for crying out loud. I know Killer Bee was an important plot character and I like him too, but his village needs to be put on trial for their past actions.

5. YES, I’m slightly tired of Hinata. I stopped watching Boruto, but I noticed she was being shoved in almost every episode I watched. I don’t really care much for her like I used to and I really don’t want to see her in almost every episode. I want to see my favorites. Just give an episode to Rock Lee along with Metal Lee and Gai already!!

6. I don’t support the idea of Neji being an overprotective brother. Sure, it can be used when appropriate, but Naruto SD (a show that isn’t canon) really fleshed that out for all it’s worth. If you look in the canon material, Neji really did’t care much for Hinata despite not hating her anymore. Neji was mainly SEEN AROUND HIS REAL FAMILY, Team Gai.

FOR THE LAST TIME, FAMILY IS NOT ONLY YOUR BLOOD RELATIVES. GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD KISHIMOTO!!!

I don’t mean to complain, but the writing in Naruto is awful and I just needed this out of my system.

I think I’ve already mentioned how I feel about Neji’s death so I won’t repeat it.

Same opinion about Hinata, kishi should focus more on her journey of gaining her father trust, not being "how to get naruto attention".
