I got a free horse a few months ago and already I’ve ended up spending thousands on a saddle, bridle, multiple different rugs, lunging equipment, feed, hay, washing gear, grooming gear, farrier visits, medical gear for when she went lame in the wet weather with an abscess, and miscellaneous stuff like fly spray, sun screen (because her blaze started getting pink and raw), hot spray (because she chewed fences out of stress when she arrived), and new riding gear for myself after my old stuff fell apart. Horse expenses are something else man lol

Does anyone else ever worry that they won’t find their person? That their person could be off with someone else, thinking they are in love, while you stand on the sidelines?
