“You’ll see,” she told Theo, smoothing down her jacket. She didn’t even wait for a response, she just started walking towards the door. Her hand grabbed for the door handle as she glanced back at him —he sat there with a knowing look, half amused.  “You’ll see how much of a brat I can be,” Hermione snipped. “And then you know what?” “What’s that, sweetheart?” He asked gently.  “Then maybe… maybe I’ll have both you and Draco under my hand, how’s that?” Her mouth had a mind of its own at this point. She distantly suspected that she was in the middle of a poorly executed temper tantrum. “Maybe you’ll both have to sit like good boys for me and call me Miss Granger.”

Chapter 3: React Accordingly

“Theodore,” Draco drawled, and gave him a flat look. “I know the idea of Granger violently taking matters into her own hands appeals to you on some level, but don't forget what actually happened to her.”

Theo stilled his tracing fingers, a tightness gripping his throat. Were they going to talk about this? He swallowed, trying to ease the tightness there. “It doesn’t.”

“Liar.”
