“Disney’s Animal Kingdom” 1992

Today’s piece is an early plan of Disney’s Animal Kingdom from 1992, predating the park’s official opening by 5 years. So many exciting elements to this plan, including an overhead look at the fabled Beastly Kingdomme area once planned to occupy the space where Pandora: The World of Avatar now stands. Also of note: an outdoor section to the Dinosaur attraction, and the far-more elaborate Tiger River Rapids. It’s interesting how close this plan is to what was eventually built.
