okay. god strike me down if i'm lying. i love studying but sometimes it's so AAAGH. like, just intolerable. unable to do it.
and sometimes i'm just feeling dumb as fuck and need a boost. these are the sites i use for that.
FLOCUS - helps keep me on task if i'm not acually using my laptop. it's super cute and has a pomodoro timer built in if you like those kinds of things. LIFEAT is similar as well but i don't use it as often.
KHAN ACADEMY - okay i was raised on khan, so maybe i'm a little biased. but also? it saves my ass sometimes. i don't use it as often as i used to, but i used to use it a fuck ton.
KUTA - this replaced khan for math. free worksheet pdfs with answers. absolute lifesaver. on youtube you can usually find videos of how to do them too, so if you're stuck you can watch the video while you work. GODSEND.
QUIZLET - i can't stand the fucking ads, everyone knows quizlet i know. just use it. i prefer paper flashcards (more tactile = easier on my brain) but i know this works for some people.
BLOOKET (or other similar) - ok.... hear me out.... when you're drilling vocab for a language class, this works. make a set for yourself and your friends and play tower defense until your brain rots. i don't know if repetition helps everyone retain but it helps me lol.
FINCH - this is more of a buddy app but i have trouble motivating myself, if you already use finch add a repeat goal for "studying for __mins / doing assignments" etc, super good way to motivate yourself.
PURDUE OWL - if you hate grammar? this one is for you. i'm a massive language nerd and read this like it was a religious book. lifesaver.
NOREDINK - grammar practice with character names of your choice. the novelty wears off pretty quick but it can be a fun boost. "leon kennedy did WHAT?"
EVERNOTE / NOTION - i know all the girlies talk about evernote and notion and their cute notion pages WHATEVER. it's functional. i, again, prefer a physical version but if you're a typing girlie then this might work for you.
SIMPLE.WIKIPEDIA - i saw this on a tiktok when i still used tiktok and LORD. if you're just so boggled, put "simple" where the language tag is in the wikipedia url and it takes you to the simple version.
BRITANNICA - love her. encyclopedia. love her. if you don't use it you should. no other statements.
GUTENBERG - wanna read shakespeare? or literally anything else without a copyright? here.
