🌊Having a mate..🌊 >>-----------------------<< I see so many young therians... and I mean young talk about how they have a mate. Now.. in this sense we are talking about boyfriend/girlfriends. A mate is someone you'll be with for life in a way like you're a "mating pair". Unless you know your significant other will remain with you for the rest of your life and you'll possibly start a family of your own then "Mate" is an appropriate title. Not a few months of dating. If they break up with you or call off the relationship then they were never your true mate. Just another boyfriend/girlfriend. I personally don't believe most people who say they have a "mate" after a few days, weeks, months to maybe a year of dating. To me having one means you will remain with said person until death do you part. And not every boyfriend/girlfriend you've had is your mate... if you both have talked about how you will remain with each other or in some way shape or form sealed the deal you will both stick together then "Mate" could also be a title for that. I say this because when you have a mate, that means at some point that'll be completed and you will have your own family. You're mated for life. All that stuff. >>-----------------------<< Mkay so that's how I see that subject and that is my personal opinion on the whole thing. If you don't agree with me that's okay just be kind about it if you're going to say otherwise. >>-----------------------<<

🌊Pack Rant...🌊 >>----------------<< What I don't get is how many people want/need to be in or start a pack. Especially the more younger members in the community. Packs... should be more of a family like what @therian.secrets said in her rant. And the fact I'm seeing stories of 12 year olds who were pups and then suddenly were awarded the title alpha the next day confuse me. How does that work? Alpha is a high title not everyone is fit for it... it's not about power or control. It's about guiding, helping, listening, and being there for the other members. There's a lot more than just leading and being the boss. You should be a family. And having like 20+ members is a little much...and constantly asking random strangers to join is also an issue. You don't know them, they could be 40+ creeps on the internet for all you know. There's just so many factors you need to think about before taking on something like that. I've seen packs fail because they had way too many members and they couldn't keep up with it. Just.. please if you're going to start a pack or join one, be educated, be willing to take on certain responsibilities, and DON'T ask random strangers to join, start with close friends maybe even family. And don't worry about not having a lot of members that's not important. Just have fun be safe and be sure you're okay with what you're getting yourself into. >>----------------<< Again, this was all how I feel about it and what I think. 🌊New kintype?🌊 >>-----------------------<< Alright, so here's the thing I didn't mention in my recap post. During my long hiatus I did some odd soul searching, changing, and acceptance. Before I left the first time I got help from someone with this, so I believe I have a lycan kintype. I'd have very aggressive shifts, they'd come on at random moments, I'd have weird phantom shifts that would make my body tense, my chest would feel heavier so my breathing would become all deep, I could go on but that's what I experienced over that time. So I've now decided over meditation and continuous shifts it's officially another kintype. Though I'm still learning about her... so be patient with me. I say lycan and not werewolf. Otherkin is also used to describe those who don't fall into the "Therian category" be it mythical creatures such as gryphons, dragons, faes, etc. >>---------------------<< Furries: People who are fans of anthropomorphic animals, enjoy the art, go to conventions such as anthrocon, and enjoy dressing up as/creating their own fursonas. >>---------------------<< Teen werewolves: Each individual in this community experiences it differently. 🌊I know it's not my place...🌊 >>-------------------<< Listen, I know it's not my place to really be saying people within the community are wrong but there's still false information being spread. I get back and people have definitions confused, they're spreading false information about certain topics, people in the comments on these posts are getting annoyed so they're correcting them. I know not everyone is going to view the world the same way as me, and I know everyone has their own perspective and way of thinking. But maybe just talk to others maybe even older members of the community or others from different communities just to be 100% sure what you're saying is correct in some way shape or form. There's a subject someone talked about that I saw this morning and what they said was just it was flat out wrong and that's only what you see/hear on movies and on tv. I don't think I'm comfortable to open up about it on here so I won't go too deep on that subject. But please... look into stuff more. So we don't confused newly awakened therians, otherkin, or just the younger members of the community. >>-------------------<<
