A small smile crossed his lips.

Despite having this torture of nightmares and other repercussions, he knew he’d still do it again. Countless times over for exactly what Emmet had just said. As long as they were both still together, he could live with what he’d done. If there wasn’t anything else that bothered him aside from reoccurring nightmares, he could definitely live with it if it meant his twin could live without fear of that man. Leaning up a bit, he pressed a kiss to his twin’s forehead, “Ja, at least there’s that.” He agreed, pausing a moment.

“You know, even with these nightmares, I’d still do it again a hundred times over.” He murmured, looking down. It was already very clear that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do if it meant keeping Emmet safe. Moving, he curled up a slight bit as he relaxed in the younger’s arms. At least with his current relationship, Ingo had complete peace of mind about it.

Above all else, Emmet feels profound respect and deep familial love for his brother. There's a degree of guilt too--when he makes eye contact with his brother, he feels drawn towards the memories of exactly what Ingo has done for him, as well as how he once had intended to forsake his twin.
