☾ ghost girl } - “ KB-ou ? You call yourself a king ? Interesting… ” Ema mused quietly in response. It was still very audible, as was her intention. Calling oneself king only led to three possibilities - overconfidence, underconfidence or… just not having very much originality, to be honest. Regardless, to use a name like that, the other must have been confident in his abilities to some degree…
She reasoned that her name would not be too dangerous a piece of information to give him. He appeared to be very new to Link Vrains, after all.
“ My name is Ghost Girl. A pleasure, I’m sure ~ ❤. ” She blew a kiss out of reflex, more than anything. She wasn’t flirting - she wouldn’t waste her energy on a stranger, after all. It was beginning to become a little bit of a trademark… “ Though, I’m guessing you’re here for duels. Unfortunately, I can’t do much more than point you in the right direction. A girl’s got to keep an air of mystery to keep the upper hand when I have to duel. ”
See now this was the problem with thinking of handles on the fly. In the end he said something not too far removed from Yuuma’s handle. If it was Yuuma’s handle exactly, then he’d later congratulate himself for remembering. KBOu wasn’t a bad name, but all things considered, it lacked creativity. He was thankful that it wasn’t something embarrassing or anything arguably. He would have just called himself Astral and left it at that, but alas. At least he had something to show for it. . ?
The motion that ‘Ghost Girl’ made wasn’t entirely familiar to the boy, but he wasn’t all that sure what the gesture meant. Or what to do about it. So he stood stiffly and stared. A moment of silence was spent trying to decipher meaning but eventually, he decided to accept this as a simple friendly greeting. What else could it be really.
“ I’d appreciate that. ”
There was no telling how long he could maintain this form. The more duels he played before having to pull out of VRAINS the better.
“ The most fulfilling victories are the surprising ones. If I can get at least once of those before I leave, I’ll be content. How would I go about locating more experienced duelists? ”
☾ ghost girl } - She noticed the other stiffen up slightly. It looked like she’d managed to make him a little uncomfortable with her usual tendencies... she’d remember not to do that again. She had no reason to give the other discomfort - he didn’t look like he had anything valuable or so on that would make her try to manipulate him.
Besides, she felt that setting him up with a few opponents might be fun to watch. Vrains had been so boring recently, after all. Some entertainment would be welcome!
“ Well, we’re not too far from the main plaza, if you’d just like to approach someone formally and ask. ” She gestured behind them, to where most people congregated if they weren’t looking for anyone in particular. “ If not, you could always use your disk to make a request for people to come to you. ”
She closed her eyes to smile, even though her mouth was covered. “ It’s really up to how confident you are about going up to someone and saying ‘Duel me!’. Though, you strike me as someone who’d rather talk, than just send up a notification. ”
