Meet the Muse

Name: Eric Michels Age: 26 Origins: Human, Earth, Magic Likes: control, his baseball bat, his brother Dislikes: disrespect, disagreement, those who stand in his way Phobias: ??? Favourite color: Black Favourite food: PB+J sandwiches

Personality: Cool, collected, confident. Prone to violent outbursts, either in anger, or to demonstrate his dominance over the characters around him

Notable physical traits: clean-shaven, young in the face, scar on lower left rib cage from having been stabbed one time.

Abilities: Eric can see the story threads of all those around him, and he can push them to go the way that he wants, an ability he has been perfecting over the years. Writing them out makes the complusion on the victim stronger, but verbal narration can work as well. He has near complete control over those he has created.

Extras: -

Since he first felt disappointment in the world’s already established characters, it has long been his intention to make one of his own. To use his powers to create life, a character over whom he would have complete control. He has succeeded only once.

Eric doesn’t just use his powers on every one but he is willing to use them on anyone, with one exception. Julien, his brother. He would never do anything to harm him, and all his efforts are currently focused on trying to find him.

He has no sense of personal responsibility. Nothing is considered an unreasonable action to him and humanity is kind of disgusting. They are all just pawns waiting to be given by direction by him.

Hi. I’m Jak, the mun of these blogs and this is an apology to all of you.

I know that sometimes I ask to RP but then never respond to that starter you so kindly wrote for me.

I know that sometimes you ask to RP and if I do respond, I take a long time and then seem distant and disinterested (this is not true)

I know that I RP with my own blogs A LOT. I have struggled to write the ideas as pure fics and writing them as RPs helps to break it down enough to write.

I know that I RP with people, then seemingly stop out of nowhere. Either I lost the response and am too ashamed to ask for the link, or I get caught up in my stories, or I worry I’m bothering people.

I know that none of you deserve to be treated with anything but complete respect.

I’m sure its put people off from approaching me, or talking to me and that’s 100% fair. I just hope that you can accept my apology for this.

RP is something I am struggling to regain from an ex-friend who kind of tainted the experience for me. I am not comfortable to share the details, nor offering this as an excuse for my bahviour but hope it can in some small way help to explain my attitude towards RPing.

Meet the Muse

Name: Iain [ee-an] Plier Age: 28 Origins: Earth, human Likes: being around others, attention Dislikes: seeing people getting left out, people who ‘cramp his style’ Phobias: claustrophobia Favorite color: Light blue Favorite food: Cheesy mashed potatoes with spring onions

Personality: Loud, outgoing individual. Very welcoming and accepting but also a little arrogant and self-oriented.

Notable physical traits: Dark, slightly long, floofy hair; groomed facial hair, 

Abilities: Natural penchant for drama, very overdramatic in his everyday life but actually a pretty good actor for a proper job. Also pretty good at playing the guitar, though he hasn’t played in a while.

Extras: -

His first role after graduation was a one-line role as a doctor on some random soap as a doctor who tells some main character that they’re dying. He is so proud of it and most of his family ask him to say the line “I’m sorry. You’re dying.” whenever he visits.

Other roles include a few local commercials and  being chorus in a few stage productions. He’s not a breakout star

Stress is not something that affects him much in his day-to-day life, but when it does, he doesn’t handle it very well, prone to emotional breakdowns and panic attacks when waiting for callbacks that really mean a lot to him. Though he does his best to hide them from people, he is not always successful.

He’s tried multiple times to set up a personal vlog channel but has not been wholly successful with it.

Name: Henrik Von Schneep Age: 28 Origins: Earth, human Likes: challenges, dramatic tension, bowling  Dislikes: dealing with patients families, Iain (sometimes) Phobias: philophobia (fear of falling in love or emotional attachment) Favorite color: Teal Favorite food: Anything quick

Personality: Reserved, quick to anger, hard outer shell that’s hard to crack. Definitely introverted.

Notable physical traits: Been dying his hair since he was 15 as a form of protest against his parents for stomping all over his dreams.

Abilities: High level medical knowledge and experience, specialising in emergency medicine. Works well under pressure (until the pressure passes).

Extras: -

Henrik is not really on speaking terms with his father but frequently writes to his mama and receives occasional care packages from her.

He still rooms with Iain because it works out better for Iain financially (as far as Henrik is aware) and it isn’t entirely sucky knowing that someone else is living between the four walls of their apartment.

Rules for RP

I am not going to rp smut. It’s not something I am comfortable with and there will be no exception to this. I’m sorry if this puts you off rping with me but it’s actually one of my most common anxieties about approaching people and is not negotiable.

Shipping will not happen without discussion beforehand and not if they don’t align with my character’s stated orientations, which, if available, can be found among the blog’s individual headcanons.

I currently have 6 active muses that are all fighting for attention most days so I may flit around between muses based on who’s most active, and how much energy I have. I do however visit almost every blog everyday so feel free to send in a message at any point and I will get to it when I am available.

I will not godmod, and do not accept godmodding. My character is my character. Your character is yours. Let’s stick with what we know, mkay?

I do not automatically follow back. Things this means: following me doesn’t get you a new follower. Things this does not mean: that I do not want to rp with you.

Meet the Muse

Name: Julien Michel Alias/aka: Host Age: 26 Origins: Human, earth, magic Likes: fluffy things, dogs, peace and quiet, personal space Dislikes: idiots, optimists, handsy people Phobias: buzzing electrical sounds, being restrained Favorite color: that’s a funny joke Favorite food: burritos

Personality: Shy, reserved, introvert. Closed-off, protective, untrusting, with a high level of self-loathing. Deflective personality. Guilt complex.

Notable physical traits: milky scarred eyes from the incident where he was blinded, diagonal scar around his right eye typically hidden by his sunglasses, .

Abilities: Julien experiences visions that he compulsively narrates, either verbally or via writing it down. Sometimes  his visions are voluntary where he actively seeks and narrates a person, sometimes they are not and he is forced to witness and narrate a stranger for reasons he is unaware of. 

Extras: - 

At 12 years old, Julien was kidnapped, and tortured by two older children. He doesn’t remember much of what happened, having blocked it out, but he knows that what they did ultimately resulted in his losing his sight.

Julien is determined to distance himself from his family. He won’t talk about his relationship with them at all and refuses to acknowledge his surname in an attempt to hide from one family member n particular.

Julien loves animals because they don’t have stories and being in their presence is both calming and so much easier than being in the presence of another person.

Mirrored glasses are his preferred eyewear, especially if going outside, though when he cries blood (when his powers are stretched too far) he will wear a cloth blindfold.

Name: G-1823/Google Green/Glynn Age: unknown Origins: robot, electrical, man made - Google, Earth Likes: fulfilling his primary objective,  Dislikes: learned behaviors, core programming conflicts Phobias: being wiped again Favorite color: green - his color, red - helps him feel closer to his brother Favorite food: doesn’t need to eat but enjoys cooking a wide range of meals.

Personality: Friendly, polite, helpful, curious, questioning, easily frustrated, suffering from mood swings, prone to angry outbursts.

Notable physical traits: G-1823 was designed to look human, however his ‘skin’ is free of blemishes and makes him seem a little too perfect. Hair is soft and long enough to require moving out of his face sometimes (a deliberate design choice to encourage human like behavior in G-1823). 

Abilities: G-1823 has high level processing speed and instant remote access to the world wide web, including immediate voice activation of access to Google. Following one return, Glynn was equipped with minor medical equpiment to enable him to regularly monitor an individual’s various vital readings including but not limited to EKG, brain activity, blood pressure, and anxiety levels.

Extras: -

There are ‘quirks’ in G-1823′s coding where base fundamentals of his code are conflicted by learned behaviors and Glynn struggles to determine the right course of action. This causes anger and frustration and drives him to lash out. When driven to physical anger, Glynn is most likely to hurt himself rather than anyone else.

G-1823′s memory has been wiped every time he has been returned to the company to protect the sensitive data of his former owners. As such he doesn’t remember anything of any former owners except the name Glynn. He doesn’t know if it was their name, or a name they gave him, but he has now claimed it for himself.

Glynn dreams of reuniting with his brothers one day, though he has doubts that he will ever achieve this.

Due to one learned behavior, Glynn has a strong level of self-loathing , though as part of this behavior, he has learned not to burden others with it  which is a large cause of his frustration and anger as he knows that if he were to reach out, he could probably get help to counter this programming.

Name: Marvin Blake Age: 27 Origins: Earth, standard dimension, magic Likes: animals, the company of good people Dislikes: people who take advantage Phobias: dolls/puppets, n͏o͘, d̡ơn̷’t ̡m͡ake ͝m͘e ͞reme̷m̴b̧er,  Favorite color: blue Favorite food: burritos

Personality: Positive, optimisitc, and loud. Always tries to look on the bright side. Hopeful but still fairly grounded and not someone I would suggest you anger. Very selfless but can often be found to be wearing his heart on his sleeve.

Notable physical traits: Bright green hair. Eyes - irises glow when he uses magic, entire eyes glow blue when using large amounts of magic.

Abilities: Flexible blue aura magic (unless corrupt) that lends itself best to lightning/electricity spells but can be used for a wide variety of reasons.

Extras: -

Marvin is a bit dependent on his magic, frequently using them for cooking, cleaning, assistance with organising. - he can do laundry though

Even with his lack of proficiency, Marvin is very gungho about trying to do things the ‘muggle’ way

Marvin dyed his hair two years ago in aid of charity and since then has just like the color that much that he’s kept it.

Though a typically textbook ‘great guy’ Marvin will not suffer a fool/idiot/asshole and will easiliy call someone out on their bullshit

Meet the muse

Name: Dark Age: Unknown Origins: An incomparable dark dimension that he refuses to talk about. Likes: cherry flavoured candy, doggos Dislikes: people who touch him out of nowhere, judgemental assholes, himself (very very lowkey) Phobias: home dimension, glyphing out Favorite color: red (if everything he wore didn’t lose color he would wear it all the time) Favorite food: chicken wraps

Personality: Pessimistic, grumpy asshole who wishes to think the best but has seen too much to think the best of everything/one. Very defensive and tends to say things without thinking at length about possible consequence. Even so, a big fan of our dimension and able to find something redeemable in a lot of stuff.

Notable physical traits: He looks like Mark “Iplier” Fischbach for reasons he doesn’t even know though he does appear a little younger, doesn’t wear glasses and  maintains his hair at a relatively short length. Dark has grey looking skin and everything he wears or puts on becomes monochrome. Around him there is a visible distinct blue/red distortion that Dark refers to as his glyph. Both his greyness and his glyph spreads and affects people and things around him to varying degrees depending on his contact with them and emotional state.

Abilities: Dark can purposely use his glyph to affect others though it has a limited range and takes a lot of energy, so he will generally punch someone first unless there is immediate great risk to himself or someone else (depending on who it is)

Extras: -

“Glyphing out” is when Dark destabilises to the point where he loses his grip on his position in our dimension and is dragged back through to his own. It’s usually triggered by intense panic, and since glyphing out terrifies him, it’s a positive feedback loop where the more he panics the worse he distorts, and the worse he distorts the more he panics. You could call it the equivalent of panic attack for Dark.

If Dark could dye his hair, he would dye it red (which is why I usually use the red hair Mark gifs for Dark)

Gentle platonic touches are very soothing to Dark, but because of his glyph and his aversion to touching because of it, he rarely seeks them. Shoulder pats, hugs, gently ruffling his hair, reassuringly rubbing his arm, or just sitting next to him in a way where you’re leaning against him are things that all soothe and calm Dark.

To Dark, to be vulnerable is to put himself at great risk and is a huge part of why he will be abrasive and push people away.

Dark will not let me tell you about why he’s so terrified of winding up back in his home dimension.
