Just because you are a lover doesn’t mean you forget war. Taoism and other ancient systems teach that the most peaceful benevolent soft person can be the most skilled and dangerous if provoked. In other words, a lover without an integrated warrior will eventually get trampled upon by this world. She will become naive and prey to a world of predators. This is one of my aging proud and graceful, optimal health, deep-tissue secrets. As a woman, I stay syrupy in love, vulnerably loving, and incredibly tender but I will never lose my ability to fight, defend, protect, or go to war on any area of life if ever needed, parasites in the body included. The feminine was never meant to be fragile. Nature itself makes this obvious. In the animal kingdom, the mother is often the quietest fiercest force. That Mama Bear energy is ancient and female.
