Yandere allies x capital reader. Let's say that countries are very possessive, protective and controlling with their respective capitals, and since they are their capital they cannot flee from them. I love how you write! ššššš
Thank you! Honestly, Iāve wanted to write such a thing with capitals for quite some time, so this is very welcome.
Yandere Allies ā Epicentre
With Alfred, you wouldnāt know if you pulled the shorter end of the stick or if you would have a stroke of luck in this case. As Washington, you would be of uttermost importance to him, something that he would repeatedly make clear in obvious and less obvious gestures. And since you would literally be a part of him, there would be no way you would really be free of him. It would also cement his claims that you are his and that only he may have you. Additionally, he would pull the āNations are differ from humansā card whenever somebody would try to call him out on his toxic behaviour.
On the flip side, as the personification of the USA, Alfred would be obligated to often make trips aboard. Not to mention he would become stir-crazy is he would be trapped in one place in his country for too long. And seeing that as the capital city, you would have your own duties that couldnāt be ignored, Alfred would be forced to frequently leave you behind. Then again, this would mean hour long Skype or Zoom calls and him sicing White House staff on you to make sure you behave.
Matthew would be far more lenient with you in comparison to his brother, yet you would also have to deal with him far more. Since you would be Ottawa, he would also allow you far more freedoms than if you would be human. You would know that you belong to him, and vis versa. There would be nothing to discuss, nothing to re-enforce since the ground rules would be clear as day.
Due to having far less significance on the world stage, Canada would have far more time with you. And with you have less duties in contrast to many other capitals, he would practically glue you to his side. From the outside, it would be a completely lovey-dovey relationship. Matthew would be charming, attentive ā he would take you out to cafes and on road-trips and to the sea and every place you could want to go as long as it would be with him.
Yet there would be dangerous undercurrents, times when his possessiveness would seep through or when he would cling to you too much. He would excuse it as expressing his unending love for you, which wouldnāt even be a complete lie. If you would turn a blind eye to his more ⦠abnormal behaviour then everything would be find. If you would play-pretend that youāre head over heel in love with when you wouldnāt be then there wouldnāt be anything to fear.
Yao would have had a long time to establish your relationship and therefore would be mostly secure about it. Due to centuries of imperialism and isolation, he would have long determined himself as the centre point of your life. He would be the person you would be enthralled to like the earth is enthralled to the sun and as such there would be no escape. As such, he would put him on a grand pedestal where none of his actions can be questioned, where he would even be superior to other personifications.
Therefore, all threats would come from the outside ā nations and cities and humans that would leer at you, that would want you in one way or another. Whether it would be specifically about you ā your body, your possessions, your status ā or as a means to enact revenge, get close to him or find out his secrets, he wouldnāt tolerate anybody spending too much time with you. While you would be firmly in his pocket, this fact wouldnāt stop him from being paranoid and thinking that somebody could corrupt you.
Life with Arthur would have definitely been worse during the time of Empire. Back then, you would have been the centre point of the Empire and at its height, the centre point of the world. Back then when people said that to be tired of London was to be tired of life. As such, you would have been to conform to a strict set of rules and cater to his many fancies. They rules would have dictated everything from your reading choices to etiquette to wardrobe. He would have been gracious enough to let you stay on British soil while he had to attend to matters abroad, and yet he would have made even that sound like a stringent law.
The modern day would be better in some ways, but worse in others. His grip on you wouldnāt be so tight since the expectations would be generally lower. Besides, London wouldnāt be the middle of the civilized world anymore. Transportation is easier nowadays than it was back then, so Arthur would be more inclined to flee the bustle of the city. And then drown in imperial nostalgia and alcohol in some hamlet pub.
Yet all that wouldnāt mean that he would be any less possessive of you. If anything, he would be more surreptitious in his methods. Arthur would bug your phone, and install āsecurity camerasā in your office. When you wouldnāt be spending time with him, you would be drowning in work. This would all be because youāre so selfless and dutiful, or would it be his doing?
What would France be without Paris? You would be his heart, in more ways than one, and out of that reason he would keep you close at all times. Francis would spend a lot of time in Paris itself and on-top of that, would share an apartment on the finer side of the Seine with you. You would even share on office, attend meetings concerning internal affairs together and when summer would come you would go for a sea-side vacation together. It would be easier to count the hours you wouldnāt spend in his presence than the time spent in it.
The connection would be fast, and firm and you wouldnāt have any chance to tear yourself away from him or become independent. Yet you would also be desire by other nations. On one hand, France would be of the opinion that they ought to be that way, and them complimenting you and sending you presents would be them paying their dues. One would have to be blind and a fool to not recognise your worth. On the other hand, he would want nothing more than to lock you up and throw away the key because he wouldnāt be able to stand the want ached in their actions and words when they would converse with you.
It would have only been in recent history that he became obsessed with you. You, Moscow would have become the capital after the fall of the tsars. Wanting to rid the country of all imperial vestiges and traces, they had renounced St. Petersburg as the capital. And with the Bolsheviks claiming you as the centre point of a glorious union, you would have been reunited with Ivan.
Your relationship would be mutual on a large part, yet it would be the product of a trauma bond. With purges going on and totalitarianism reigning, the two of you would really have only had had each other. He would be your only confident, and vis versa. As such, he would have been really possessive of you. This attitude wouldnāt wane in the modern day; if anything it would persist and even grow stronger. Because you would remain one of the few people he could trust and because of your status you wouldnāt be able to live without him. Not to forget that otherwise you would also be of extreme significance to him on a larger scale. When thinking of Russia, most picture Moscow after all.
