So. I’ve read your Signature series about a million times. I’m not exaggerating, like when I have nothing to read and am too lazy to go searching, yours is my go to.

The angst is a thing of beauty. The relationship dynamics are awesome. Sam whump is everyone’s favorite along with Dadchet. And your writing ties it all together.

One thing I was thinking about when reading Tribulations where Sam and Bee are talking about what Bee went through when Sam was gone— will we ever see in Bee’s POV when he stepped through the ground bridge right after Sam was captured by Megatron on Diego Garcia? Or when he picked a fight with Hot Rod?

I don’t mean to make you feel pressured or anything. I was just curious since you write some of Bee’s POV in another fic, and I wanted to voice my appreciation of your hard work. I’m such a nerd over it. It’s disgusting. I love it.

I’ve been asked before whether I’ll have a Bee or Ratchet POV from immediately after Sam’s kidnapping. One or both will probably make it into the vignette’s one day! Hard to choose which would be angst-ier.

less an ask, more of a statement, but: I've been getting back into the transformers fandom (both as a writer and reader) and the first thing i see is references to your works (currently in the middle of reading Fission) and went down a rabbit hole of your tumblr to get some insight on the Signature verse.

and at this point idk if I should be scared?? amused?? the memes are Causing Concern. Do i need tissues?

I gotta say, this might be my all-time favorite ask. Signature is my baby. It’s pretty heavy on the hurt/comfort, angst, and whump, but there’s just as much slice-of-life, idiots in love, and humor. Dadchet is a pretty big focus of the story too. I have a soft spot for grumpy old men who reluctantly adopt chaotic Gen Z gremlins.

Fission, Chapter 8: The Safehouse

The stairs opened onto a bright, airy country kitchen. The well-worn hardwood contrasted against the white countertops and stainless steel appliances. However, that’s not where Sam’s attention went first. He stared at the large table in the center of the room. Lennox was sitting on the opposite side, facing him, with another man sitting beside him. Sam recognized the other man from the diner. The guy with the locs. They were both watching him closely, as though waiting for him to speak.

Put a finger down if you’ve ever been so obsessed with a fanfiction universe that first you write a darkfic spin-off prequel for it following a different character (hey Jack) who hasn’t even been mentioned in the main fic yet, and then because you’re so unhinged, you end up drawing art of a future when your fanfic-of-a-fanfic protagonist eventually meets up with the main protagonist (hey Sam) from the actual fanfic—

Hello! Back again, I was wondering since OP has the Matrix Of Leadership, and Sam has the AllSpark energy radiating from him, (also a couple of hit drops) If OP can sense when like something dangerous/serious is happening to Sam bcs they're connected (The Matrix and AllSpark.)

(Back in the TLS OP was worried abt Sam when The Decepticons took Megatron & Ratchet, it put an image in my like like the OG 7 were like "NOT AGAIN! FIX IT!" them when Sam was safe: "No need to panic!" *wipes brow.* )

First of all, my apologies for the delay in answering this ask! I’ve been traveling out of country. Second, I don’t think so! Sam and OP aren’t connected that way so much as they are each connected to the Matrix. But it’s an interesting idea and I’ve been giving it a lot of thought!

Hello again, I was wondering, since the AllSpark isn't destroyed (im assuming?) In the Fission universe since all the cassettes have AllSpark energy radiating from them. Can they (the autobots) use them (the cassettes) like how you would a metal detector?

Also side question, how fast exactly is a cassettes healing factor?

We are still figuring out Fission-lore, but our current thinking is that the Allspark was destroyed -- or rather, the Cube was destroyed. It's energy latched onto the species closest to Cybertronians (i.e., early humans) and then it began meddling. If you're asking whether the cassettes could be used as metal detectors to find the Cube, alas no! Great question!

I don't know how long Sam's gonna stay kinda skiddish around the rest of them but I do really enjoy reading Sam trying to avoid the emotions he's feeling about the other like with Will he's like.

"Is this... admiration I feel? No! It can't be!" And with Jazz it's kinda like.

"I may not hate you to your core, but I'm still very much overwhelmed by you so I'm gonna stay in my corner and just kinda hope you f_ck off on your own."

So, here’s the thing — Sam has complicated feelings, and it’s going to take him a while to sort them all out. The reality is that Sam is an anti-occupationalist, but a great deal of his distrust, suspicion, and paranoia were due to his condition. Additionally, as a cassette, Sam has a bone-deep attraction to both Soundwave and his cassettes. It’s biological, it’s instinct — Sam feels safe and accepted and protected when near his cohort. So we’re going to be seeing a lot of “two steps forward, three steps back, four steps forward” kind of plot progression in the next few chapters. That’s going to involve Sam being sweet, and defensive, and sarcastic, and cuddly, and angry, and curious by turns. We’re really looking forward to it!

I just realized. Back in TLS I think (Jazz I don't really remember) mentioned that Sam wasn't SW cassette therfore no need to really help him out, but in Fission you made Sam SW cassette so now he really has a reason to care/look out for Sam. And I really like the call back to a separate series (IF it was a call back or if I'm just looking to much into it.)
