as much as I adore Izuku, I don't think he would commit to a relationship. At least not during his time at UA ... his focus is really just trying to be the best hero and save as many civilians as possible. Sure he does like you and imagines a future with you but he doesn't act on those feelings sorta like what Uraraka did.

at most what he does is try to keep you safe,,, possibly even send you mixed signals as well. It's irritating to say the least when he knocks at your dorm in the middle of the night wanting to talk.

he longs for your touch, even blushing when he admits but you deny. Why must he do this to you? Say such things but won't ask you to be his one?

you two feel so connected to one another yet it feels like he keeps putting up a barrier between you and him. You try to tear it down, bang on it for dear life but he stops you.

at least at the end of the day, he rests his hand on the barrier like he still cares.

cause he does but he cannot give in.
