"I was surprised that Wyatt even knew that.I didn’t know he was good at math. I thought Noah was the smart one. Learning something new everyday." Cici smiled and grabbed another pickle to munch on."I know! I’ve been tying to be patient about setting up the nursery. It’s not that I really am concerned about making it gender specific but I think I would be better in for the theme if I knew what we were having. I was kind of thinking maybe wolves." A large grin spread over Cici’s face and she stared at Alyssa with a knowing look."Suuuure. You wanna ride that disco stick!" She snickered. "Ugh, when did our lives get so lame? We used to have like wild fun. Marriage has messed me up, huh?" She was joking of course. But was somewhat serious. Being married changed her for sure.

Rolls her eyes and lays back on the couch, "I have no idea... and now your prego... we are never gonna have fun.." Smirks, "Maybe when the baby is born Wyatt can babysit and we can go be naughty..." Giggles and grabs a pickle as well, "Yummy..."

Alyssa giggled at her her friend who did have a point, why not enjoy sex while it was risk free. Setting down the snacks she smirked, heading back to the kitchen to quickly grab some dill pickles, “I see your cravings haven’t changed…” Pets yeti and smiles at him, “Well since you have a 50/50 changes times three I would say your odds are good… but you never know i suppose… genes are tricky things..” Sits down and shrugs, “My life is BORING! School and waiting.. that’s about it.. I mean a lot of guys ask me out but.. they just aren’t my type.. I wish I could click with someone like you clicked with Noah.. How is Noah taking father hood?”

"I don’t mind the cravings. I mean, what could I complain about with eating. This id like the best part of being pregnant so far. I get to eat for four people and no one bats an eye." Cici smiled and took the pickle jar from Alyssa when she joined her and popped it open."Wyatt said there was like an 87 percent chance we have a girl. So that definitely got Noah happy. He’d be happy as long as they’re healthy but he wants a girl. And I do too. But we’ll know soon enough." She bobbed her head, biting into a pickle."Bullshit, your life has to be more exciting than mine! I need something. What about that teacher of yours. Anything going on there? Stopping by his office for… Extra credit?" Cici asked, waggling her eyebrows with a smirk."Oh! He’s so excited. He talks to them and he’s been so helpful. I think he’s even going to go spend sometime with Nate’s new baby for some practice."

Alyssa smiled softly and shook her head as her friend ate a pickle, "Knowing Wyatt he is probably correct..."Sips her pop listening, "You should be able to tell in a few weeks! How exciting!!" At the mention of her professor Alyssa's face bloomed bright red, "Cici you are horrible! You know I wouldn't do that..." But Alyssa even began to doubt herself, he was so amazing- but he was her teacher and mentor. Shakes her head, "Really there is nothing going on in my life... I'm trying to keep things calm until I get the hang of my classes..."

Molly smiled proudly and whispered back. “Its my mama’s recipe. She’ll be happy to know I got myself out of trouble by bribing the librarian with cookies.” Molly wrinkled her own nose and frowned. “Math isn’t that fun, so I can understand skipping it to do more fun things. I’m Molly by the way.”

Alyssa smiled at her new friend, "Then your mom was a genius! Oh I am Alyssa... or Aly.. Which ever you want is fine with me... so what is your major?"

"Of course you’re going to be fine." He replied, but he didn’t think she heard him. If it had been anyone else other than her, he would have reacted normally and done the level headed thing. But this wasn’t a stranger, this was Alyssa. And when she went slack in his arms and her eyes rolled back as she passed out, he just reacted. Pressing his hand to the side of her face, he closed his eyes and focused on making his magic flow through his body and into hers. His skin and hers glowed at the contact, and he could feel the tingle of magic radiating up his arm. The blood didn’t go away, but the cut in her head knitted back together, and even when he felt her start to wake up, he didn’t pull away. He’d already started this - he might as well finish healing up her wounds.

He finally pulled away, satisfied that she was fixed but terrified of how she was going to react. “Aly.. I’m sorry, you scared me.” He said with the shake of his head, not sure what else to say. His secret was out, and he wasn’t sure how she was going to take it. Would she even recognize it for what it was? He swallowed, his throat suddenly tight. At least her eyes were clear again and no longer dilated.

Alyssa whimpered before everything went black, she didn't know how long she was stuck in the black, but she knew that suddenly a warmth filled her and eased all of her pains. Her lids were not as heavy and she opened them with ease. But doing so she saw something amazing, something scary, something confusing. She was glowing, Nate was glowing... and the cuts on her arms were healing before her eyes! Nate was doing this somehow!

When he sat back giving her space she looked down at herself, her wrist was no longer bruised or swollen, her head wasn't bleeding. Holy shit holy shit holy shit!!! Blinking up at Nate she motioned to herself, still not sure what to say until the words bloomed from her mouth, "What did you DO?! How.... How... Nate! How the hell did you... you.." The world tilted again and she gripped his shirt for balance, don't pass out!

Molly grinned back and hushed a giggle behind her hand. “We gotta be careful. The librarian has caught me a couple of times and she gets mighty angry if you eat inside.” Taking a look at Alyssa’s book, she studied the problem. “Oh this is easy. You gotta use the pythagorean theorem to find the square sides.”

Alyssa smirked and nommed on another cookie, "I would like to see her try and yell at us when i offer her these awesomely delish cookies!" Blinks back at her text book and wrinkles her nose, "Oh... I think I remembered that... In high school math classes I preferred doodling.... or skipping to the library..."

"Why should I stop having sex now?! The damage is done. I can’t get pregnant while I’m pregnant. You should know that Ms. Med School Dropout. And you know Noah and I were trying to have a baby. We just didn’t think there would be three at once.” Cici licked her lips, very happy that Aly had chocolate. Chocolate was always good.”The only boy and chocolate makes dogs sick. Do you have any pickles too? I could go for some of those. ” She sat up eagerly when Aly came in with the snacks, grabbing a handful.” Kind of sucky. I’m already huge and I was getting morning sickness a lot. That’s kind of passed. My mood swings are better too. I hear the second trimester is much better on women. So I look forward to it. Especially since we get to find out the sex of the little turds soon. We’re hoping for at least one girl. But bleh! Enough about me. That’s all people talk about these days. Tell me about amazing single life!” Cici demanding, stuffing the snacks she’d grabbed earlier to punctuate that she was not talking anymore.

CPR Class || Nate and Aly

Nate was still getting used to the feeling of having a bond with someone, even if it was only one sided. He felt her as soon as she pulled into the parking lot, her presence a happy and genuinely pleasant one. He hadn’t spoke to her yet, just watched from afar and made sure not to draw her attention. He still wasn’t sure how he should handle meeting her. Yes tonight he would be close, in the same CPR certification class as her, but he still wasn’t sure if he should introduce himself. In the back of his mind there was a nagging fear, What if she thinks you’re weird? How can I watch over someone who doesn’t like me or want me around? No, it’d be much more simple remaining strangers for now, unless by some act of God they were forced together.

He got out of his car and headed into the building, making his way through the halls until he located the class room. The room was already pretty full by the time he walked in, and he scanned the room for an empty seat. His stomach lurched when his eyes landed on her and he realized that the only free seat left was right next to her. Was this your plan? He asked God, his mental tone apprehensive. He didn’t want to make an idiot of himself. He forced himself move, and he sat down quietly beside her. Could get through this whole thing without talking to her? He doubted it. His mouth felt dry and his palms felt sweaty. Glancing over at her, he offered her a small smile. “Hi, how are you?”

Alyssa looked up from her notebook as a boy walked in the room, something about him put a weary feeling in her stomach. He was a good looking boy, could fit into the 'popular' crowd easily unlike the loud and sassy Alyssa. His dark looks and intelligent eyes set him apart from the rest of the class- he looked like someone who knew what he was doing. Shaking her head she looked around the class hoping the boy would find another seat, any seat but the one beside her. A sigh escaped her when the boy did the exact opposite as she wanted and took the chair beside her- dammit. Dropping her gaze back down to her notebook she tried to ignore him and the weird feeling in her stomach. But his deep toned voice drew her eyes up to his and she shrugged, "Fine.. Waiting for class to start like everyone else... you?" Raises an eyebrow in his direction wondering if he was as anxious as she was.

When she wrapped her arm around his neck, his hands braced her, trying to still her movement. “Hold on, we don’t know how badly hurt you are.” And that was when she cried out, and his face paled. “What hurts?” Nate asked again, trying to keep his voice steady. It was so much harder to be objective when it was a dear friend in danger rather than a stranger. He held her for a moment, hoping he could comfort her.

"Just go easy," He told her as he tried to pull her out out of the car. "Do your legs hurt?" He asked, trying to glance behind her to see if they might have been crushed. He looked back to her and was once again taken aback by how much blood was on her skin. He tilted her face to get a better look at her eyes. "I think you’re concussed." He said with a frown. He needed to find out where all this blood was coming from. "Do you feel woozy?"

Alyssa nibbled her lip and nuzzled his neck as he pulled her free from the car and sat her down on the concrete. It felt nice to be on something flat, "My feet don't hurt.. My wrist and head.." Looks up at him and sees his worried face, "I said not to worry!" Well she hadn't out loud but at the moment it didn't matter, she had wanted him to not worry.

Raising a shaky hand to her head she winced, "I-I think I hit my-" Pulls her hand away and stares at all the blood that coated her fingers, "I-I don't think I am that hurt Nate.. I don't feel.. I dont... I.." Blinks a few times, god she couldn't think! Looking up at Nate, hair matted to her face and neck from the blood, "Am I ok?" Closes her eyes, her head splitting from a headache.

"You’re the ho." Cici smirked t her fiend as she opened the door."And don’t deny it~. I’ve known you far too long to believe anything you try to sell." She snorted a little and looked down at her belly. Yeah she was pretty big was still being in her first trimester." Well that’s what happens when you have triplets." She shrugged but was eager to return the hug." Call me old woman one more time and I will slap you." She teased, walking inside and going straight for the couch." Ahhh I forgot how far your apartment was. Hell yes I’m hungry. What you got. Mama gotta feed these little monsters."

Alyssa giggled and shook her head giving her friend a squeeze, "Well stop having sex! I would think you would know what causes one to have triplets!" Shakes her head and gives yeti a pet before going to the small kitchen just off from the living room, "I made a whole bunch of chocolate treats... and i found the bag of treats for yeti too since he is the only boy..." Brings in the platter of snacks, "So how is being prego?"

Molly laughed as she looked around to make sure the librarian was no where near. “I do! Would like some?” She pulled out the oreo box from her purse and offered it to the young girl. “I sure am, sugar. Oh goodness, I can completely understand. Sometimes math just wants to make people’s life a bit difficult, but you just gotta be patient. What do you need help on, hun?”

Alyssa grinned at her new best friend and took a few cookies, "Thanks! My favorite.." Noms on one before smirking, "I totally agree and my mind does not want to have anything to do with math.. Do you remember how to find the diameter of a circle in a square?"

CPR Class || Nate and Aly

Alyssa never saw herself as ever taking a night class, but this was only time the class was offered; CPR class. Alyssa figured since she was going to learn how to care for animals she had better know how to save a persons life if the time ever came, she was after all going to get her doctorate. Stepping into the room she was shocked, all about were dummies and body diagrams. She had no idea what she was getting herself into, but shrugging her shoulders she took a seat at the table in the front of the class room. Shrugging off her bag she pulled out a note book and a pen- it was not unusual for her to be the first one to the class but sitting among the unliving was making her a bit creeped out. Playing with her long dark hair she watched as several other students entered the room- each getting the weirded out face which made her want to tell she agreed.

Sneakingly, munching on an oreo cookie, Molly hid behind her book. Who knew men with nicer and shiner hair than hers would cure a boring day with nothing to do. “Hm?” Molly peeked above her book and tried to swallow the bit of cookie in her mouth. “S-sure!” Her voice muffled a bit with cookie goodness.

Alyssa blinked at the girl then grinned, "oooooh!" Still whispering, "You got cookies!!" Giggles, "Don't worry, I wont tell... Are you good at math? I am having problems with this geometry question... in my opinion a square is a stupid square.."

After Cici had confirmed plans with ALysa she wrote a quick note to Noah for when he got home, which would probably be shortly after she left. She grabbed her purse, grabbing the jar of pickles from the refrigerator and stuffing it in there with her phone and wallet. For some reason pickles had been helping with her nauseous. She didn’t go anywhere without them. Then she grabbed Yeti’s leash, just for safe measure, though he was very good about walking with her and headed out. It was a nice cool afternoon and while everyone would protest her walking to Alyssa’s apartment Cici felt like she could use the exercise. It wasn’t a long walk, took Cici about twenty minutes before she and Yeti were at Alyssa’s doorstep and Cici was ready to sit down.”Open up, ho! I wanna sit down.”

Alyssa giggled at her friends 'knock', "Ho? Ho?! Who's the ho?" Giggles as she swings open the door, "Good god your so pregnant! Come and sit old woman.." Smiles and gives her a tight hug that belied their banter. Hi yeti! Still as cute as ever!" Lets the door swing shut after them and smiles, "Hunger girl?"

The band of severe storms had caused their share of trouble throughout the night, and Nathan had been called into work to help with all the emergency calls that were coming in. He’d seen a couple of wrecks, a house that had been damaged when a tree fell on it and injured one of the people inside, and one unfortunate fool who had managed to get caught out in the mini hail storm they had had. Things had just seemed to start quieting down when he felt it, the unbearable sense that something was very wrong. His stomach churned, his heart pounded hard against his ribs, and a clammy sweat threatened to trickle down his temple. Alyssa, he realized with scary certainty. Somehow he just knew something had happened to her. He had to find her.

He followed his gut to where it told him to go, and half way there he received a call from dispatch telling him about another wreck. His grip on the steering wheel tightened until his knuckles blanched white. “God, please let her be okay.” He prayed. He couldn’t bare the thought of losing her. He was sure that’d leave a hole in him that could never be filled again.

The scene wasn’t as horrific as he’d imagined, but it was still terrifying to see a car he recognized mangled next to a downed tree. Fire hadn’t arrived yet, and there was no one else around. He climbed out of the ambulance. Due to the busy night, he was alone. He rushed to the driver’s side of the car, shouting as he moved, “Alyssa?” The door took a hard tug before it came open, and his eyes swept over her. At first glance, there was a lot of blood, and that worried him. He knelt beside her. “What all hurts?” Upon closer inspection, he could see that something was wrong with her wrist. “Hang tight, I’m going to get you out of here.”

Alyssa let her head lean back against the headrest after trying the door again, it wouldn't budge. She knew better than to close her eyes for a long time, she might be hurt worse than she knew. The sound of a car coming up on the scene had her sitting up again, blood dripping down her neck making her shirt wet. Seeing who it was she sighed, figures it would be him. She was happy to see him, but she didn't want him making a fuse like he did when he ran to her.

In seconds he had the door off, his words were a blur, "I-I'm fine..." Reaching out she wrapped her arm around his neck, suddenly all the pain hit her. Her face hit his neck and it was like coming home, her throbbing wist and splitting headache eased until he started moving her out of the car. A hiss escaped her lips as they tried to untangle her legs from the wreckage, "Just pull..." Looks up into his face and offers a small smile hoping to reassure them both.

Leans across the table in the somewhat quiet library, "Psssst!" Rolls her eyes when the libraries tells her to shut up for the forth time. "Hey can you help me?" Offers a sweet smile.

Girls Night!

Alyssa sat down her phone and hopped up from her futon, she had to make some snacks that would satisfy her prego friend and Yeti. Quickly she wrestled up some chocolate covered strawberries, hot chocolate and some of the dog treats she had left over from their last girls night. Changing into her pjs- shorts and a tank she settled down and turned on the tv waiting for her friend to arrive so they could catch up on gossip.
