Many humans in my community have been deeply affected by the #weinstein scandals in Hollywood. The reality is women and LGBTQ deal with constant passive and aggressive sexual intimidation day to day, regardless of what field they work in professionally- and are often pressured to stay silent in order to protect their careers. And what's more bizarre is everytime a Weinstein or a Cosby emerges, our culture acts surprised- as if we don't currently live in a world where we have a sexual predator for President and that's totally okay. We're hurting and we're frustrated.
