I made this blog so I could interact with rpgram outside of the ask box. I don't expect to do much, though.

Not sure how to do an intro post, so let's get the basics down:

This Amane is characterized by my "Order of Attack" fic where she was attacked by Kotoko. (You can also find it in the tag #bad things happen to amane)

General content warnings: references to cults, child abuse, and violence. If the content in a post reaches the intensity of the fic itself (that is, if I've trigger-tagged a chapter), I will tag the post too.

No NSFW, no romantic. Use common sense in general. I love angst as much as the next person, but I may put my foot down if I feel something crosses the line.

Tags and asks are fine.

I have applied a permanent magic spell to make Amane say what's on her mind more.

I will figure out the tagging system, but tags will probably be of the form (amane ooa). (amane ooa ooc), etc.

Ah, that's a bit confusing. I might change that in the future.

I'll put all the tags here for quicker browsing.

"I want to get out of here," she tells Fuuta.

"Okay," He kept his voice low. "Where do you want to go?"

"I don't know. Maybe the dining hall?"

Anywhere with more space.

"You're the boss."

Fuuta shrugged. Then he opened the door.

"Boss?" Amane shakes her head. "Not in this unfamiliar place."

She trudges out of the cell...

...and crashes into something on her blind spot.

Fuuta rushed to her side.

"Are you okay?"

Amane nods, then looks up, finding herself face-to-face with the other her.

"...You." Amane glared at her counterpart. "Why are you still here?"

Fuuta blinked slowly. He looked between the two Amanes slowly. Then, he pinched himself.

That hurt. Sure enough, he wasn't dreaming.

Fuuta extended an arm towards eyepatch Amane. Just in case she wanted him to help her up.

"I got lost," she responds curtly. Then she stands up, pointedly ignoring the helping hand.

Amane crossed her arms in disbelief. "Well, when are you leaving? Your sinful presence is bothersome."

She didn't look at Fuuta. She could address him another time.

"When I find the way out."

Amane turns her back to the other her and makes her way towards the dining hall.

(She is going in the wrong direction. It seems she's headed for cell 010.)

"Wait!" Fuuta pointed the opposite direction. "Dining hall, right? It's faster to go this way."

"Right..."

She turns where Fuuta is pointing and continues on in that direction, ignoring the other her.

Something strange is roaming in the panopticon...

"There should't be anyone wondering around at this hour..."

Amane tightened her grip on the cup of warm milk. She moved closer to the figure to get a better look.

"You... Are you supposed to be me?"

[amane-order-of-attack]

The Amane with the eyepatch stares at her uninjured counterpart.

This again.

"Another one," she mutters under her breath as she turns away.

The universe loves to remind her that things didn't have to turn out this way.

Perhaps she was seeing things. Or it could just be a dream. Amane rubbed her eyes sleepily and took a sip of milk.

Maybe Amane should've just left her lookalike alone.

"Another one? What do you mean by that?"

[amane-order-of-attack]

"It has been months since I have crossed paths with a new version of me. I was staying put to avoid all this, but it seems that fate had other plans. So unfair."

She reacts like she never meant to say the last part out loud.

[puppets-of-ps]

"A new version..." Amane repeated.

"Does that mean there are more versions of us out there?"

[amane-order-of-attack]

"Of course. Infinitely many. They tend to show up in particular moods. That is to say, circumstances that I cannot quite pin down but seem related nonetheless."

[puppets-of-ps]

"Hm. I suppose I should not be surprised. I trust in God to watch over all of us."

Amane leaned in closer, evaluating the other critically.

“You’re wearing an eyepatch… You should know that running away from trials is a violation of our doctrine.”

[amane-order-of-attack]

The Amane with the eyepatch glares daggers at her other self with her good eye.

Then she shakes her hand out of her sleeve and brushes it over the eyepatch repeatedly.

She presses her fingers on her cheekbone where the eyepatch ends.

The eyepatch won't budge.

“Are you unable to take it off?”

Amane narrowed both of her eyes skeptically.

“You shouldn’t have worn that at all to begin with.”

[amane-order-of-attack]

Eyepatch Amane snarls. "Do you think I had a choice in the matter? Are you so dense, like that Bow Freak, to assume that any version of us would have to be at fault to end up in this state?"

[puppets-of-ps]

“Even if it was imposed on you, it hardly changes the fact it is a sin. You should have resisted more.”

[amane-order-of-attack]

"You dare!" Eyepatch Amane grabs the sleeves of the other her, squeezing the edges tightly. "I resisted as much as I could, but that apparently was not enough. You try when the entire prison is conspiring against you!"

"I have tried. " Amane curled her hands into fists. "I did not succumb to blasphemy like you."

"...There is no one who will support me." She looked away from her other self. "And that won't matter. I will be the one to guide others."

[amane-order-of-attack]

Eyepatch Amane stares in silence for several moments. Only now does she notice the bruises on the other her.

"Well, good for you, being able to stand on your own," she says bitterly.

She lets go of the sleeves. After several more seconds, she turns around and walks away.

Amane let her counterpart go and returned to her cell.

In the third cell, Fuuta laid wide awake in bed. Unable to shake off his restlessness, he rolled around for a bit before finally settling again. That was when he heard Amane's raised voice. She sounded upset.

Fuuta bolted to the door but paused with his hand around the handle.

What could he do anyways?

Would she even want to see him? After betraying her faith in him?

Despite his hesitation, he opened the door.

Cell 003. Where the disaster began.

She wasn't sure why she went that way, but it felt right.

The door opened with scarily perfect timing.

"Kajiyama Fuuta..." she began, but she was at a loss for words after that.

He was okay.

He wanted to reach out to her but held back. Instead, he ran his hand through his hair awkwardly.

"Fuck, your eye—who did that to you?! Was it Kotoko?"

[amane-order-of-attack]

She blinks and then nods, trying not to cry.

"Yes, it was... But you... you are okay..."

[puppets-of-ps]

Confused by her reaction, Fuuta stepped back. "H-Hey, what's up with you?"

[amane-order-of-attack]

Amane looks up curiously. "Hmm? Is something strange?"

[puppets-of-ps]

"No, Nothing." Fuuta sighed. "I mean... You were upset with me. And shit—Kotoko attacked you again and I didn't fucking notice... And the eyepatch, did Shidou—?"

He placed a hand on her shoulder. "You... Are you okay?"

She flinches. "Huh? I'm- I'm okay. Okay as I can be. What do you mean, again?"

Did Amane not remember? He should probably take her to Shidou but Fuuta didn't want to make her upset again.

"Remember when we went to see Mahiru? And, even that wasn't the first time."

[amane-order-of-attack]

"We?" Amane blinks in confusion. "She is the one who visits us..."

[puppets-of-ps]

Ok, this was weird. Amane couldn't have mixed things up that much, right?

"We were fine. Compared to the others." Fuuta glanced at her eyepatch. "We're usually the ones that visit them."

She stares back blankly.

If there's another her, then surely there's another Fuuta as well. But how would she even say that?

...She gets the feeling she accidentally said her thoughts out loud.

“Another…? The hell does that mean—explain.”

[amane-order-of-attack]

Well. She needs to get better at filtering her thoughts. (She knows that's impossible.) He wasn't supposed to hear that.

"I... I crossed paths with another me just now. One without my injuries. She was very rude."

Logic told him that she was having hallucinations or experiencing some sort of shock from her injuries. But Fuuta felt like he should believe her.

“So you’re a different Amane to the one I know.”

"Yes, I am."

“…Ok. Cool.” Fuuta backed off. “So there’s probably another me too… No, that’s not important. Why are you here? Are you stuck?”

Amane shrugs. "I do not know. I just have a tendency to wander around the panopticon and get lost."

Maybe Amane should've just left her lookalike alone.

"Another one? What do you mean by that?"

"It has been months since I have crossed paths with a new version of me. I was staying put to avoid all this, but it seems that fate had other plans. So unfair."

She reacts like she never meant to say the last part out loud.

[puppets-of-ps]

"A new version..." Amane repeated.

"Does that mean there are more versions of us out there?"

[amane-order-of-attack]

"Of course. Infinitely many. They tend to show up in particular moods. That is to say, circumstances that I cannot quite pin down but seem related nonetheless."

"Hm. I suppose I should not be surprised. I trust in God to watch over all of us."

Amane leaned in closer, evaluating the other critically.

“You’re wearing an eyepatch… You should know that running away from trials is a violation of our doctrine.”

The Amane with the eyepatch glares daggers at her other self with her good eye.

Then she shakes her hand out of her sleeve and brushes it over the eyepatch repeatedly.

She presses her fingers on her cheekbone where the eyepatch ends.

The eyepatch won't budge.

“Are you unable to take it off?”

Amane narrowed both of her eyes skeptically.

“You shouldn’t have worn that at all to begin with.”

[amane-order-of-attack]

Eyepatch Amane snarls. "Do you think I had a choice in the matter? Are you so dense, like that Bow Freak, to assume that any version of us would have to be at fault to end up in this state?"

[puppets-of-ps]

“Even if it was imposed on you, it hardly changes the fact it is a sin. You should have resisted more.”

[amane-order-of-attack]

"You dare!" Eyepatch Amane grabs the sleeves of the other her, squeezing the edges tightly. "I resisted as much as I could, but that apparently was not enough. You try when the entire prison is conspiring against you!"

"I have tried. " Amane curled her hands into fists. "I did not succumb to blasphemy like you."

"...There is no one who will support me." She looked away from her other self. "And that won't matter. I will be the one to guide others."

Eyepatch Amane stares in silence for several moments. Only now does she notice the bruises on the other her.

"Well, good for you, being able to stand on your own," she says bitterly.

She lets go of the sleeves. After several more seconds, she turns around and walks away.
