“Well, you sound very much a gentleman.” Amari chirped. “As good as a girl can be, talking to a man through a wall. What about you?”

“So, I think I spent like, five hours, talking to Koa last night in the pods.” Amari laughed, tossing her hair up into a messy ponytail. “He’s a theater director for kids, which is the cutest thing ever, but we’re both so into the arts, I swear, it’s like he was hand-crafted just for me.”
