The Information I have got from the Article
Who is Joyce Campbell Joyce Campbell is a New Zealand artist and photographer. She lives in Auckland, New Zealand, and also travels and lives partly in Los Angeles. The things she likes to explore and capture in her photography are nature, memories, creating dreams in her artworks, different types of scenery, and history.
What is the dream diary about? Around 10 years ago, Joyce started writing down her dreams, like the dreams of a family, in a diary while they lived in Karekare, which is near the West Coast of Auckland, near Piha. Since then, she has been back and taken photographs of things to create an inspired artwork by thoses dreams
How did she make these types of artwork? She uses a technology called LiDAR, which is normally used to map land. The app scans the place and uses tiny lasers and creates tiny points to build a 3-D sculpture, building a picture of the landscape of the area that has been chosen. Joyce turned these into scan-like dream images.
When you’re looking at the artwork, what feeling do you get from it? You get the sense of mysterious, quiet, peaceful, familiar to the eye, both odd-looking but also interesting, catching things from a different world and using your imagination
