coming to the lucky cat cafe’s caturday event was a bit bittersweet for angelica. while it was a cute date with tink, it just made her miss her childhood cat, fluffy. while she’d been gone for years, angelica couldn’t help but still think of her. “ out of all the dates i’ve ever been on, ” angelica says, cuddling the cat currently perched in her lap, “ this is the first one that involved cats. so, you win major creativity points. ” she looks across the table and smiles at the blonde. @missbxll

i can turn invisible. my body, my clothes, whatever i’m holding, it all just disappears.

When did you first discover it?

i had a really bad headache one day and next thing you know i was disappearing right in front of my eyes.

What, if anything, do you think triggered it?

your guess is as good as mine.

Can you control it? If so how - what is your method?

yes. before i would just focus really hard until it happened but now i can turn it on and off like a light switch.

Has your power impacted the way that you interact with the people in your life?

i haven’t really told my friends. only my cousin and one of my friends know. i can use it to spy on them though if i really wanted to.

Do you hide your power? Or do you not care if others know?

i hide it. i hate it.

Did you believe in magic before gaining these powers?

no.

Do you feel like everyone has magic in them as well or that you are special?

i’ve always been told i’m special. this makes me feel cursed.

Do you feel like the king and queen should address the increase in magic on the island?

yes, obviously something really fucking weird is going on.

How has your power impacted your moods? Have they been more erratic, calmer, etc? Explain as much detail as possible.

i don’t fly off the handle as easily. if i don’t keep my emotions in check, it’s harder to control.

Would you be willing to go through a series of tests to better understand your powers?

only if i can get rid of them in the end or have something better.

angelica knows she should have stayed strong and said no but, in all honestly she missed tink. she might have broken her heart but, feelings like that didn’t just go away no matter how hard she tried to make them. their kiss during the holidays hadn’t helped the situation either. angelica hesitated for a moment before beginning to sway to the music. if she hadn’t been so in her head about her stupid feelings, she wouldn’t hesitate to show of her years of dance but, she’s content just swaying for now. angelica resists rolling her eyes at tink the moment she speaks and feels like she deserved an award for it. “ i’ve been good.. great even. ” she half lies because things had been good on every front except this right here. “ how.. how about you? ”

“that’s good,” tink says eagerly, almost cutting off angelica’s returning question. the nerves were really starting to get to her obviously. gods she just hoped her hands didn’t start to get sweaty or anything. embarrassing herself like that was the last thing she wanted to do right now. “i’m good too. busy with school and stuff.. you know, the usual.” she stops herself from adding on hanging out with friends, both because she hasn’t really actually been doing that much lately and also because she remembers how things went down last time she brought up the fact that she has multiple wide circles of friends. quick she instead changes the subject, or at least shifts it back to angelica. “how’s that internship going?” she asks, mainly just to show that she had been paying attention during the last fight at the friendsgiving event.

the small talk was painful. it was hard to do something so asinine with someone who's hurt her so bad but angelica wasn't going to put herself out there and ask what she really wanted. so, angelica was going to grin and bare it. she nodded as the girl spoke. " yeah, the usual.. " angelica repeated, as she continued to sway to the music. she hated that she still had feelings for her, being this close made the former butterflies she'd felt for her faintly flutter again. " oh.. it's going great. " she says, a bit surprised she remembered it at all. " learning things i wouldn't in a lecture hall. i'm hoping i'll get a job out of it when i graduate. " angelica's sure tinks just being nice and doesn't really care but it felt good to talk about something she was proud of.
