You can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see in you.

I wasn’t going to post about this but whatever.
I used to be pro-choice. I can’t morally justify abortion, just like I can’t morally justify the death penalty.
3 weeks after fertilization the eyes and spinal cord are visible and the developing brain has 2 lobes. 4 weeks after fertilization the heart is beating and a circulatory system is in place. 7 weeks after fertilization muscles and nerves begin working together. When the upper lip is tickled, the arms move backwards. The cerebrum has divided into hemispheres. 9 weeks after fertilization more than 90% of the body structures found in a full-grown human are present. The medical classification changes from an embryo to a fetus. This dividing line was chosen by embryologists because from this point forward, most development involves growth in existing body structures instead of the formation of new ones. The pre-born human moves body parts without any outside stimulation. 10 weeks after fertilization all parts of the brain and spinal cord are formed. The heart pumps blood to every part of the body. The whole body is sensitive to touch except for portions of the head. The pre-born human makes facial expressions. 12 weeks after fertilization electrical signals from the nervous system are measurable. After an abortion, efforts to suckle will sometimes be observed. 14 weeks after fertilization the pre-born human make coordinated movements of the arms and legs. 16 weeks after fertilization the pre-born human makes eye movements. 18 weeks after fertilization the portion of the brain responsible for functions such as reasoning, memory and language (the cerebral cortex) has the same number of nerve cells as a full-grown adult. Pain sensory receptors have spread to all portions of the skin and mucous membranes. 20 weeks after fertilization the pre-born human sleeps, awakes and can hear sounds. 24 weeks after fertilization the blink-startle reflex and taste buds are functional. The pre-born human will swallow more amniotic fluid if a sweetener is added to it. The grip is strong enough to hold onto an object that is moving up and down. If born and given specialized care, the survival rate is more than 80%
After 24 weeks, an abortion is now illegal.
If that isn’t enough, let’s talk about Planned Parenthood. Its founder, Margaret Sanger, was an extreme racist who attended and spoke at KKK meetings. Here are some of her quotes:
“[We should] apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.“
“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”
“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” - Margaret Sanger’s December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble
“Such parents swell the pathetic ranks of the unemployed. Feeble-mindedness perpetuates itself from the ranks of those who are blandly indifferent to their racial responsibilities. And it is largely this type of humanity we are now drawing upon to populate our world for the generations to come. In this orgy of multiplying and replenishing the earth, this type is pari passu multiplying and perpetuating those direst evils in which we must, if civilization is to survive, extirpate by the very roots.”
That’s not the only thing extremely wrong about PP. There are people actually defending the harvest and sale of dead fetal organs and tissue. Why is any of that valuable if these aren’t human beings? Why are you still standing with Planned Parenthood?
