Rohit Sharma set to overtake Shahid Afridi in Rajkot T20 India Vs Bangladesh
India Daily Post: Rohit Sharma will become only the 2nd Indian cricketer after women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur to play 100 T20 internationals.
Recent News India's stand-in captain Rohit Sharma is all set to become the 1st Indian men's team cricketer to play 100 T20Is. Rohit, who has completed 99 T20Is, will achieve the landmark during India's 2nd T20I against Bangladesh in Rajkot on Thursday.
Rohit Sharma will also become only the 2nd men's cricketer after Shoaib Malik (111) to enter the 100-match club in the shortest format of the game. Rohit is currently level with former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi at 99 T20 International appearances.
Notably, Rohit Sharma will become the 2nd Indian cricketer to do so. Women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur recently achieved the milestone during India's series against South Africa in Surat. Rohit also becomes only the 12th cricketer (men or women) to achieve the landmark.

Despite India losing the 1st T20I by 7 wickets, Rohit achieved a personal milestone as he went past Virat Kohli to become the leading run-scorer in T20I cricket. With 2452 runs, Rohit has 2 more than ViratKohli in T20I batting charts.
Meanwhile, Rohit will also be looking to overtake Suresh Raina on the list of Indians with most runs in T20 cricket. Rohit, who has 8321 runs, is 3rd on the list behind Raina (8392) and Virat Kohli (8556). Chris Gayle tops the overall list with 13,051 runs in T20 cricket.
