                                   THERE’S  AMUSEMENT  IN  THE  QUIRK  OF  HIS  LIPS.                 steve  hated  missing  out  on  sunlight  --  always  had.                    he  lived  on  very  little  sleep  ;  couldn’t  help  it.                        but  tony  tried  his  best  to  change  that.                       brow  is  arched  as  tony  opens  tired  eyes  --  a  small  grin  tugging  at  his  lips.              ❛   we  need  to  build  your  heart  back  up,    ❜                he  mumbles,                 hand  slipping  down  to  press  against  his  chest.                he  leans  over  &  presses  soft  lips  against  his  chest,                 right  over  the  scar  over  his  heart.

                              INSTANT               /               mechanic  stirs  as  mattress  dips,               smaller  frame  that  had  just  seconds  ago  been  bound  into  muscular  build  already  longing  warm  embrace.               tone  breathes  on  heavy  huff,               bourbon  shades  still  drawn.                      ❛          don’t  even  think  about  it.     ❜                    tone  dispels  warning,               dispute  ever  so  crystal  clear  regardless  of  lingering  fatigue.                    ❛   thought  we  had  a  deal  ?               this  morning  we  were  sleeping  in.               you  owe  me  at  least  another  20  minutes.     ❜                    a  roll  to  own  side  of  the  bed,               sluggish  shift  drowning  the  sleepy  groan  that  spills  beneath  signature  goatee.               ❛   mhm         come  back  to  bed.     ❜          //     @ameriicandreams

                             IT’S  EARLY  ENOUGH  THAT  THE  SUN  HASN’T  QUITE  CREPT  THROUGH  THE  WINDOW  YET  --  he  liked  to  run  to  the  sunrise.                steven  was  always  the    first  one  up    ;  quiet  as  a  mouse  as  he  made  effort  to  wake  no  one  in  his  departure.                   but  this  morning  he  got  up  too  quickly  &  shifted  the  bed --- not  to  mention  the  fact  that  he’d  had  to  pry  tony  off  of  him.                  now  ceruleans  had  to  deal  with  the  way  his  lovers  lips  formed  a  pout  without  his  consent.                  ❛    i’ll  miss  the  sunrise-------   ❜                  he  tries  to  protest,               but  knows  very  well  his  attempts  to  do  so  fall  flat.                    he  raises  a  hand  &  scratches  at  the  scruff  on  his  face  --  a  few  days  of  not  shaving  have  him  on  his  way  to  a  full  beard ;  he’d  always  shaved  every  day  like  his  mother  taught  him  to  when  he  was  growing  up  --  never  even  knew  he  COULD  grow  a  full  beard.               he  sighs  &  lays  back  on  his  side  of  the  bed,                 staring  at  the  ceiling  before  canting  his  head  to  glance  over  at  tony’s  closed  eyes.                  he  smiles  a  bit  &  reaches  over,                 hand  brushing  his  cheek.                   ❛    you  could  always  come  jogging  with  me.   ❜

his words don’t fall on deaf ears, though she makes no move to face him. wanda stays silent, at first, taking in a steadying breath and wringing her hands together— an action she’d never considered a luxury, until it was taken from her. if they were all monsters, why had she been the only one to be collared? to be bound? they were all criminals, yes, but her captors hadn’t feared the others, once they were behind bars. she knows that means. “i do not know how many people would agree.”

          “nope.” a shrug. they’ve talked about this, she and the professor. at this point, he’d be happy if she finished high school — which, HONESTLY, doesn’t seem possible for her. they’re both aware that college is a pipe dream. not just for her, but for blossom and bubbles, too, even though they want to go. bubbles wants to go to julliard and blossom wants to go to yale. it won’t happen. as if townsville would EVER let them be more than what they are. “it’s not possible for heroes like me and my sisters.” a pause. “you wanted to be an ACCOUNTANT?”

                            the  pitiful  excuse  for  a  smile  that  he  grants  her  is  sheepish.                    ❛    ‘figured  it  would  pay  the  bills.                i  always  wanted  to  go  into  the  special  police  force  &  be  an  agent  or  something. . .             but  i  was  TOO  LITTLE.              my  family  would  have  never  let  me.         ----------------------just  like  they  never  wanted  me  to  join  the  war  efforts,     ❜              he  smirks  a  bit.                    ❛   why  no  college  ?    ❜
