Nothing about love/affection with Pisces is shallow. Or disloyal. Or wishy-washy. Once they have a deep feeling – it is as the ocean. They want to dissolve all boundaries. Be one with the other. Some try to say that a Pisces’ lack of boundaries will make them disloyal, and promiscuous, but I have not seen that in my personal experience (both sisters also Pisces…and stepdad. And grandmother. SO MANY PISCES). Pisces feelings are deep wells without bottom. It is the ocean. And the ocean is dark and full of shadows. Such deep feelings in my experience don’t leave room for disloyalty…however with such deep confusing wells, such overwhelming feelings, such dissolution of boundaries/feeling of being one with the other, there is plenty of room for delusion, dependence, and even abuse (yes, from the Pisces even). It is easier to feel personally affronted with such things. Betrayal is a real dark deep feeling when it is from one you became so attached to. Hurts run as deep as the feelings that it was born from. Delusion is real. Be grounded. Don’t be deluded by others, and don’t delude yourself that you are closer to someone than you are. Just because you feel strongly and deeply doesn’t mean the other shares those feelings or even has the capacity to understand. Being grounded and keeping yourself independent, is definitely a Pisces problem. I think an enlightened healthy Pisces should be able to attain (healthy, controlled) detachment. Pisces as the 12th sign can attach to all, but can also to none (and these can both exist - a detached but universal sense of connection). It could stand to learn from its sister and opposition sign Virgo in being grounded and discerning (while maintaining Yin Mutable-ness). (last 3 sentences are conjecture and not personal experience, I am definitely far from getting that far!!!)
