pro tip on how to explain the spn ending to your friends

Have them imagine an alternate ending for the Harry Potter saga: what if Ron died in book 6 and never got mentioned again? Imagine he had no funeral and he was never grieved by any of the characters. 

After Harry kills Voldemort he starts planning to get a wizard career and finally rise to his full magic potential. First, he wants to visit the Dursleys and he falls off the stairs in their house. Hermione offers to heal him with magic but he says “he was always supposed to die in this staircase”. He promptly dies, right after a semi-romantic moment between him and his cousin. Nobody has time to attend his funreal because they’re busy with work (maybe?). Only Hermione and his owl show up.

Hermione moves on, gets a party wig and marries a man (but we never learn anything about him, his face is blurred). We do not know whether Hermione manages to follow her dreams and become the cleverest professor in all of Hogwarts, the details of her life are left out in favor of showing her son for some reason. 

All of the other characters - the Weasleys, Luna, Neville, Draco, Snape and Dumbledore - are killed by Voldemort and then resurrected off screen, we never see them again. 

Ginny’s arc is building up to have her be the love interest of one of the leads but then she’s just never mentioned again. 

Harry reunites with his abusive adoptive family in heaven because he doesn’t want to meet his actual parents. He doesn’t want to see Ron either but he smiles when he hears that he’s here.

The last shot is just Daniel Radcliff waving at the drone camera, thanking everybody for coming to the movie theater, as a Katy Perry cover of the main theme plays in the background.

Excerpt: Weak, vision swimming, and teetering towards delirium, Dean crawled towards his phone. Tears slipping from his eyes. If he was going to die… he needed to say goodbye to Sam. He needed to tell him not to do anything stupid. Sam would be desperate. Sam would even make a deal for Dean. He couldn’t let Sam do it.  He’d make Sam promise to finally ask their neighbor out. Start a life. Maybe she’ll be able to keep Sam’s purpose grounded. Maybe Sammy would even get a dog and have kids with Dean out of the picture. It had always been the two of them, keeping each other tethered to reality. Sam was everything to Dean, he desperately didn’t want to leave his brother behind.  More tears well in his eyes, his fingers inches away from his cell. Desperation clung to Dean, he could almost touch it, a hair's breadth away.  So close. So close. So close.  He knew he’d been on borrowed time, ever since Reverend Le Grange had exchanged a life for his all those years ago and then again when his Dad made the deal with Yellow Eyes. He knew it’d catch up to him, he thought he would be ready when the time came.  He wasn’t. He wasn’t ready at all. He loved life. He wanted to see one more sunrise. Have one more beer with Sammy. Shoot off some fireworks in an empty field again like they did when Sam was a kid. Take a long trip, no hunting just sightseeing, in the Impala.  He wanted Sam to fall in love.  Dean too wanted to fall in love.  To wake up to someone and to go to bed with that person every day for the rest of his life. Curl around them in a bed full of blankets. Kiss the nape of their neck. Run his hands down their body. Watch the laugh lines form around their eyes and the grey slowly pepper their hair. Bicker about whether to turn on the heat on at night when his blood ran thin with age.  O’ how he wanted someone to want him forever. To love him forever. To walk through life with him.  He’ll never get that chance, dying on this stinking floor. A sob breaks from his lips, as Dean stretches his fingers to his phone. The black device taunting him, screen broken… like so many things in his life. So broken. He was so very broken.  Broken Dean Winchester. Never the same after his Daddy died. He can hear them saying it.  Never the same, wanting more and never feeling as if he deserved it. Taking care of Sam, his only purpose until Sammy didn’t need him anymore. Sammy didn’t really need him anymore… right? He’d be okay if Dean died. Dean convinced himself that Sammy would be ok.  He couldn’t believe he was dying from Tim Wesson’s drunkenness.

♥️ Destiel Watching Thing ♥️

Hello my fellow Destiel shipers and Supernatural lovers.

I got this last minute idea about a Watching Party this Thursday of the most iconic Destiel episodes. My personal reasons for this proposal are:

This will be one of the few Valentine’s, in Canon, when Cas and Dean will be together. (My Head-Canon is: They recruit Sam to baby-sit Jack and still work in their issues)

There will be no episodes till March 16th.

It’s Valentine’s the following day and I’m alone with no plans or date.

This could be a good way to clown together for the last time… AKA the show is ending in 3 months. 😱

So, with the help of @zeeimpalaangel and @soleeryx we get to the following list of episodes that will be screening in our usual Kast room:

A Valentine Watch Party of my fave Destiel episodes with other fans?! I only have one question: Should I wear the rainbow onesie with the big ruffle collar or the blue ragdoll dress with giant red polka-dots? Which goes better with these bright yellow over-sized shoes? Seriously, I love this, count me in. :)

Not on the list, but if taking suggestions, Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets 12x10 is a really good Dean/Cas ep too.
