Slowly dawning, the birds sang happily outside while the sun's rays filtered through the gaps in the window curtains, softly illuminating the room, essentially signaling that it was daytime.
You and 007n7 were still in your pajamas, sleeping peacefully in your shared bed, with you resting one hand and your head against his soft chest, while he snored and had both his arms wrapped protectively around you.
With 007n7 working two jobs and you working with an animal rescue organization, using your understanding of animal language to communicate with the little ones, it was only natural that you two couldn't often take time to relax like this... but fortunately, this was one of those moments.
Some more time passed like this, until the soft sound of a door opening rang through the room, followed by the sound of small footsteps from a small red figure wearing his Drakobloxxer onesie pajamas.
The small figure walked to the couple's bed, climbing with some difficulty due to its small legs and hands before finally managing to climb onto the bed and crawl over to the still-sleeping couple.
"Papa! Mama! Wake up, wake up! It's day already!" c00lkidd exclaimed happily, approaching the two and shaking them gently.
You and 007n7 gave small grunts, starting to wake up, followed by small yawns. You both blinked your eyes slowly toward c00lkidd, who now had a big, bubbly smile on his face.
"It's Saturday, Kiddo... why are you up so early, little man?" 007n7 asked softly in a husky tone, having just woken up, giving another yawn before moving one of his arms that was previously around you to the boy's back, slowly bringing him closer to the two of you.
"I'm hungry..." c00lkidd spoke in a low, almost shy tone, which immediately caused his stomach to rumble, confirming his statement.
"Aww... Is our baby hungry?" You asked in a soft, playful tone, giving a small smile.
"Nu-uh! Not baby! I'm a big boy!" c00lkidd exclaimed quickly, waving his little arms around trying to emphasize his point, which only made 007n7 and you giggle at the adorable little scene.
"Of course you are, little man. Come here..." 007n7 said playfully, giving you a playful glance that you immediately caught, giving him a playful smile back.
"Love attack!!" 007n7 and you exclaimed at the same time, starting to plant kisses on c00lkidd's chubby, cute cheeks, making him giggle and wiggle, trying to escape your reach, but to no avail.
"Mama! Papa! S-Stop! Hihihi! T-That tickles!! Hihihi!" c00lkidd giggled, making the couple laugh between their kiss attacks.
"Hmm... we won't stop until you admit you're our little baby." You said slowly, giving an amused smile.
"N-Nooo! Hihihi! I don't want to! Hihihi!" The boy spoke again between giggles, still trying to get away.
"Come on, little man... all you have to do is admit you're baby. Then, boom! We'll stop!" 007n7 said with a playful smile, trying to contain his owns giggles.
This continued for another minute, until c00lkidd finally gave up, giving up on moving away from you, looking a little out of breath, which you two immediately stopped, letting the boy catch his breath.
"Are you okay there, Kiddo?" You asked softly, earning a small nod from the boy still catching his breath.
"Are you finally going to admit you're our baby?" 007n7 asked softly, making c00lkidd pout in defeat.
"I'm... I'm baby..." c00lkidd drawled, still pouting. You and 007n7 exchanged smiles before looking back at the boy.
The boy's stomach rumbled once more, breaking you out of your little family moment.
"Mhm... I have an idea. Why don't we have pancakes today?" 007n7 asked with a soft hum, which immediately caught the boy's attention.
"Seriously, Dada?? Pancakes?!" c00lkidd asked excitedly, cupping the man's cheeks with his little hands, making you coo at the scene.
"Yeah, why not? Let's go." 007n7 said, giving you a smile, which you returned.
You slowly got out of bed, starting to walk out of the room. Meanwhile, 007n7 grabbed his glasses from the headboard and quickly picked up the little red boy, following behind you.
You walked down the hallway, where you could see some photos of the three of you together as a family, and some of just you and 007n7, with three clearly standing out from the rest.
The first photo was of you and 007n7 on the day he finally asked you to be his partner when you were teenagers, where it consisted of just the two of you striking a corny pose, forming a heart with your arms and legs. You still thought it was cute and insisted on leaving it hanging, much to the dismay of 007n7 who was now kinda ashamed of the photo.
The second photo already features the two of you and c00lkidd, capturing the day 007n7 proposed, with you both showing off your hands with your engagement rings, while an even younger c00lkidd can be seen sitting on the hacker's lap with a small smile.
The third and final photo captures your wedding day, where 007n7 appears wearing a black suit and an shy smile, while you're wearing a [white/black dress suit] with a big smile on your face, carrying him in your arms bridal style, while c00lkidd can be seen in the background with a big smile.
Ah, memories... how they can make you smile.
You arrived in the living room, seeing that your pet bunny, Gubby, was still sleeping peacefully in his little bed. This made you smile as always, approaching and crouching down next to the little white, fluffy ball that you found adorable.
"Gubby... Wake up, boy!" You called with a small hum. The small white figure began to blink, looking in your direction, and then leaping into your arms, where you caught him with a giggle.
"Meep mep memep!" Gubby exclaimed to you, wagging his bunny tail happily.
"Good morning to you too, Gubby." You said with a smile, slowly placing Gubby on the ground before standing up, watching the bunny run around you.
"Mama, Mama! Can I play with Gubby outside?? Please, please!!" c00lkidd asked quickly, approaching you and gently pulling at your pajama pants, having been placed on the floor earlier by your husband, who must have already been in the kitchen, as he was out of sight.
Gubby stopped running around you, choosing now to gently rub himself against c00lkidd's legs, definitely seeking the boy's attention.
"Hmm... okay, you can play with him. But remember what I said about being careful, okay? You have to be gentle with him. He's still a bunny." You made a small, thoughtful sound before speaking softly, bending down slightly to pat the child's head.
"I'll be careful, don't worry, Mama!" c00lkidd exclaimed with a big smile, picking up the bunny carefully as if it were a stuffed animal. Gubby didn't seem to mind being picked up by the child, having done it many times and grown accustomed to the boy's presence.
"Take care of him for me, will you, Gubby? Can you do that?" You asked playfully, looking down at the little bunny.
"Meme mep mep!" Gubby said in what sounded like a greeting, to which you nodded.
"When breakfast is ready, I'll call you and Gubby. Now go outside and play, my baby." You said softly, giving a smile, only receiving a nod from c00lkidd before the boy quickly ran into the backyard.
You laughed, shaking your head gently before starting to walk to the kitchen to find your man.
Arriving in the kitchen, you found your husband with his back to you, humming softly, wearing an apron, and appearing too busy making pancakes on the stove to notice you.
You felt yourself give a sneaky smile, slowly approaching him and wrapping your arms around his chubby, cute form, resting your head on his shoulder, making him let out a small startled sound.
"Sorry, sorry... I didn't mean to scare you, Honey... too much..." You said, giving a small, mischievous smile against his shoulder, making him roll his eyes at you.
"It would be great if I didn't die of fright while making pancakes. Thank you so much for understanding." 007n7 spoke with a soft, sarcastic tone, flipping another pancake in the pan with a spatula. You hummed, not caring at all about his sarcastic tone, feeling his tail gently rub against your waist and legs.
"Oh! I'm truly sorry, my kind sir. You just remind me so much of my dear, sweet husband, and I just can't help myself." You spoke playfully, burying your face in his neck and giving him a kiss, making him tremble against your lips. Not only that, but you slowly massaged your hands against his soft, fluffy stomach, making him blush with shyness.
"Y-Yeah, yeah... Sure. Breakfast's almost ready." 007n7 stammered quickly before clearing his throat, placing two pancakes on each plate.
"Can you go get c00lkidd, please? The pancakes are already ready." 007n7 said softly, turning his head toward you.
"With pleasure, Cutie Pie." You said with a smile, giving him a quick kiss on the lips before starting to walk away, missing the soft look and smile he gave you.
You walked to the backyard, leaning gently against the doorway, taking in the lovely scene before you.
Gubby was lying on c00lkidd's stomach, who was now lying on the grass, watching the butterflies flutter around your yard while gently petting the bunny.
"c00lkidd, my baby, come on in, breakfast is ready!" You called with a smile, watching the boy get up, carefully so as not to drop the bunny, picking him up and holding him in his arms once more, walking over to you, and taking your hand.
"Did you have fun with Gubby?" You asked softly.
"Yes, Mama! Gubby and I were watching the butterflies, weren't we, Gubby?" c00lkidd said with a big smile, which made the bunny gently rub against his cheek, wiggling his ears.
"Me meep meep!" Gubby exclaimed, agreeing with the boy who giggled, which made you smile.
"I'm glad you two had fun. Now let's go, your dad should be waiting for us in the dining room with your pancakes." You said with a happy smile.
"Pancakes!!1! Yay!!" c00lkidd exclaimed in an excited and happy tone, jumping up and down, making you giggle softly with a smile.
You just couldn't stop smiling and smiling when you were with your little family. And who could blame you?
You loved them. And they loved you.
