I have decided to start this blog with my sisters and cousins in order to answer any questions you may have about us. Yuuko and I are out of a job at the moment, as the daycare is closed for the summer. "My name is Ami the Sooza, and I have decided to run this Tumblr blog with my sisters and cousins! We've seen a lot of ask blogs lately so we figured we should start our own! Also, I apologize, I'm really not that good at drawing or coloring. 😅

A little info about me - I am a daycare teacher, along with my twin sister, Yuuko the Rooba. Both of us get pretty busy during the weekdays, but we do promise to get back to asks as soon as we can! You may feel free to ask us anything you'd like. Reference images and info about us are below. ✨"

"You already know me, I'm Ami! I try to be as nice as possible! Although I do tend to get anxious sometimes. I consider myself a very caring Mon. I absolutely love my job, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My twin sister Yuuko is really cool. She sometimes jokingly picks on me, but I know she means well and she's just messing around. She treats every kid at the daycare with as much care and caution as possible. Also, she dresses way edgier than that when she's not teaching at the daycare. She's a big metalhead - goes to every Blitherphish concert.

Grace and Bella are my adopted twin sisters.

Bella is really smart - she can answer almost every question asked to her. But she's a bit jumpy at times, as well as clumsy. She teaches slowdancing/ballroom dancing at the dance academy.

Grace - let's just say she's not as mellow as the rest of us are. I frankly think she's a bit too harsh sometimes, but at the same time, I admire her for being able to speak her mind so easily. She's not afraid to speak the brutal truth. She teaches bah-llay at the dance academy. She also seems to be a prime target for Yuuko, meaning she picks on Grace a lot too.

My cousin Brooklyn the Hoola is a natural born athlete and prankster. It seems like she's always on the go and moving around. I should mention that Brooklyn doesn't like to play pranks to hurt people, she likes harmless funny pranks that everybody laughs about. We both despise those 'prank channels' on social media platforms.

Lastly, my cousin Shelby is Brooklyn's twin sister and is a very kind soul. I do think she pushes herself a little too hard in trying to maintain the happy image that everyone sees her as. It's very sad. Shelby and Brooklyn haven't been around all that much - Brooklyn is always traveling anyway, and Shelby has a boyfriend who she's always with now. I do wish them the best of luck! I'm very happy for Shelby and Gabriel, and I'm glad she's finally on the path to self-love.

I'm aware that there's a lot of twins in our family tree. 😅 We're not really sure why or how, but I'm not going to question it."

"...It's not really... that easy to stop feeling that way... I was just really angry when I said that. I don't want to stop helping Monsters..."

"Hi, Ami!! How've you been? Are you doing okay? Yuuko told me you haven't been doing well..."

"I'm hanging in there, thank you for asking. I'll be fine. Things always get better eventually. Uh, most of the time..."

"Soooo, why'd you call? NO WAIT, lemme guess. Uhhh, you wanna get something for Gabriel's birthday but you have no idea what to get?"

"Heh, lucky guess. You're actually right. I would love to buy Gabriel a little something for his birthday. I would have done it sooner but... you know."

"I understand!"

"What kinds of things does Gabriel like?"

"Well... he likes books, and comics, and manga... and drawing, and clothes, and plushies, and music, and..."

"Hmmm... do you know what bands he likes?"

"Ooh! I know he likes LVX LVMENZ, he also likes Pomily Family and Waveform! For the past couple days, he's had that one LVX LVMENZ song on loop continuously. Which reminds me, he said to me yesterday that he really wants to meet DJ Epic one day. I really do, too! But I REALLY wanna meet all the members of the Pomily Family! I've only ever seen them performing in the Clubbox, but Gabriel never wanted to come with me because it's too crowded for him. I really wish he would, though, he's missing out..."

"I think you're kind of getting past the point, Shelby..."

"OH yeah! Birthday gift! Hmmm... well, I went to the hooman world and got lots of manga for him, and I got him some clothes I think would look SUPERcute on him! I can't wait to see him in that hoodie I got him especially! He collects hoodies like he eats food. Which is a LOT."

"Well then maybe I should get him a hoodie!"

"I think he'll like that!"

"Hmmm... I'll figure it out, maybe I'll see something while shopping. Anyway, it is getting a bit late. Have a good night, Shelby."

"G'nighty, cuz! Take it easy!"

"You know, you never did tell me where Ami actually went when she stormed off. When she came back, she didn't even speak to us."

"Oh yeah. She was at that Ethereal restaurant she's always ravin' about."

"Ethereal Family? Oh yeah, I've been there. The food there's actually pretty good."

"I think she put some leftovers in the fridge, but I dunno if she'll let ya have any."

"Fair enough."

"Don't the owner's kids work there too? Like, they kinda help him around the place and stuff?"

"Yeah. Sawyer opened up the place with his wife Crystal before she passed away. I'm glad Crystal at least lived to see her dream become a reality before that happened."

"I know this probably isn't the time to say this - but don't you think it's just slightly weird to name your kid after their element? Like, Crystal is a Jeeode, right?"

"Yeah."

"Jeeodes are all Crystal. I feel like that's like naming a Ghazt 'Plasma' or a Reebro 'Mech'. It's just kinda weird."

"Crystal is a common name in the human world, though. Maybe her parents got inspiration from that. It is a pretty name, elements aside."

"Who knows. But imagine a Grumpyre named Shadow, though."

"Alright Yuuko, subject change."

"...A Humbug named Poison."

"Okay, we get it."

"Maybe I shouldn't have yelled at her... I have no idea what came over me..."

"Hi, Ami!"

"Hello, Isla. How are you today?"

"I'm doing fine. Mostly... what about you? You look like you're about to crash."

"Oh, I'll be fine. It's not your burden to hold. I don't want to spill everything on you."

"You sure...?"

"I'm sure. You're just a kid, I shouldn't be dropping all my problems onto you."

"C'mon, I'm 16. I've been through a lot, I think I can handle it."

"I really don't want to talk about this with you, Isla."

"Sorry..."

"It's okay. I appreciate you wanting to help, but I'd much rather talk with my sisters or a professional about my problems. How are your dad and brother doing?"

"I think dad's doing fine. But Marshall cracked his arm playing football yesterday... again."

"Oh no, is he okay?"

"Yeah, he's fine. He's still active and hyper and acting like nothing even happened. Oh, to be enthusiastic like my brother..."

"Well, at least he's optimistic."

"Anyway, enough chit-chat, or my dad's gonna yell at me for slacking off."

"Honestly, I don't think she is... this wasn't suddenly, either. All those feelings were building up for weeks - possibly months even - I feel like I coulda done more to help her than just listen. The truth is though, I was never good with words. Or comforting Monsters. I'm more of a listener than a talker. When I told Grace and Bella what happened, even Grace started feeling bad. That's pretty rare, I think."

"First of all, Yuuko, I'm not that heartless. Secondly, now is not the time to be making jokes. I'll try calling her."

[Grace pulls out her phone and calls Ami. No answer. The phone didn't even ring for long before it went to voicemail.]

"...I think she might've declined the call."

"She must be really upset at us..."

"I'll try to text her."

[ami-the-sooza]

"I don't think I can take any more of these s-stupid nightmares... I can't take it anymore! Ever since Shelby's wedding, I-I've had the same horrible dream... over and over! I c-can't even sleep peacefully a-anymore! I'm so fucking done with this...!"

"...I think it's about time you got a therapist, sis..."

"What a-are you saying? I'm supposed to be the therapist to everyMon else! Th-there's a reason you're the only one I talk about these things with! IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE WHO LISTENS TO ME IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

"Ami, calm down-"

"NO! NOBODY ELSE FUCKING UNDERSTANDS ME, EXCEPT FOR YOU!"

"Sis, just take a moment to breathe-"

"AHAHAHAHAHA! Isn't it funny? The way I help everyMon else, but they don't help me?! It's only when things get drastic that they're forced to help me BECAUSE IT BECOMES A CHORE!"

"..."

"IT'S ALL I AM! I'M JUST A CHORE! I'm not going to keep giving you the burden of being the only Monster who helps me, I'M DONE WITH THAT! I'M DONE WITH THIS! I'M DONE WITH EVERYTHING!! AHAHAHA!"

"Ami! D-don't do anything drastic! We can try to talk about this, please! I-I don't mind helping you, it's what I'm supposed to do-!

...And she's bolted out the door already... *sigh* I'll follow her. Even if she doesn't want me to."

[Yuuko walks outside. She sees Ami fly off in her 'air scooter' as Yuuko likes to call it. It's basically a motorized scooter but it can fly. It's how Ami gets around the Monster World a lot of the time.]

"Okay, I guess I can't follow her. I don't have one of those... air scooter things. Well uh, hopefully she'll be back."

[ami-the-sooza]

[On the phone...]

"Hello, Brooklyn. How is the Summersong celebration coming along?"

"Pretty good. Listen, Ami. I have a request. You're an artist, you like to draw."

"Well, I'm not really that-"

"Think you could whip up a Summersong themed drawing? Just for funsies."

"...I deeply apologize, Brooklyn. But I don't think I could at the moment."

"Aw, why not?"

"With the way I've been so demotivated these past couple weeks, and my reoccurring nightmares, I've been very tired and my mental health has not been well. I'm sorry, Brooklyn."

"Ya know what, fair enough. I'll call Bella and ask if she wants to draw for me. Bella hates saying no."

"Not to be rude, but do you not think you're being just a little bit pushy-

...aaand she hung up. I swear, I don't think she understands what she says sometimes..."

"Yo, Brooklyn the Hoola here! Summersong is going AWESOME so far. I really should hang out with my Hyehehe buddies more often. They're the ones who taught me all I know about being a prankster, after all. I'll probably text Ami and have her do a Summersong drawing for me or something."

"You know not a lot of Monsters give freebies like that, right?"

"She's nice enough, man. She'll definitely do it."

Hi Ami! I've became an aunt to my loveky niece, Mallitt! I'll be babysitting her tomorrow and she's almost a month old. Any advice you have for me?

"Oh my goodness, I am so sorry I didn't get to this in time! I deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused! I feel badly. I do hope you will forgive me, Misty."

"Hey, I ain't answered a question in a while!"

"Wh- Yuuko!"

"Watch that child like a Tweedle, dude. As any parent and any other teacher will tell ya, the worst things always happen when you turn your back for just a moment."

"Well, okay..."

"I'm going to assume this baby hasn't started teething yet, considering she's only about a month old. With that being said, do not get the sweet potato food, that shit sucks ass. She will not like it, and she will not hesitate to let you know."

"I'm not sure how good of advice this is, Yuuk-"

"No hold on shut the fuck up Ami, I think I'm onto something here."

"Um, okay... even though that question wasn't even meant for you... apologies for this, Misty! Just make sure to keep safety the number one priority, give her plenty of attention, feed her about 6 - 8 times a day, I'm sure everything will be fine! Again, I am very sorry for answering this so late. Truth be told, I have not been in the best state of mind lately. But I'll pull through!"

"Yuuko how do you even know what baby food tastes like."
