This sucks, but not for the reasons you might initially think.
AI is being used as a buzzword to promote this "feature," but it's not generative AI, its artificial intelligence in the traditional sense. Its just an image based search engine, like the one that google has.
What REALLY sucks is the fact that TS4 gallery's regular word based search engine doesn't even fucking work. Instead of actually fixing their search engine, their introducing this new extension of it that will probably be just as, if not more broken than the word based search engine already is.
Typical EA. They will do everything to reel in new customers besides fixing what they already have.

People see the word AI and have a fucking cow like PLEASE AI does not equal generative AI 😭
To be fair though, EA is using the misconceptions about what AI is on purpose to dazzle both investors and the general public.
✨️AI✨️ is the shiny new buzzword, so everyone calls everything AI, even if it's stuff that's not based on machine-learning at all.
Like, the way sims choose the path from point A to point B is also called AI, and that has been around since the first video games.
