I'm on a roll with seeing things of mine uncredited this week. I removed my last post because I didn't want to be attacked by the person, but I really do think they probably saw a picture of one of my plushies from a long time ago and took the idea and made it their own. They tried to say I didn't invent the AC plushies sitting, but I made my Bluebear before New Horizons even came out because I wanted to recreate my first plushies with needle felted toe beans. I was so excited about the toe beans. My first AC plushies from 2016 were also in that style (they were really bad) and I know nobody else had either of them in that style when I made them, which was well before ACNH got SUPER popular. I tried to say I know it isn't their fault, it isn't, I'm just upset with how bad things have gotten and wish all my old images were credited. also my dumb fault for never having the energy to make a watermark when I finish projects, but people should really think twice before stealing an image off of an artist's page too.
I made these Bell Bags when there were only a couple of sellers on Etsy with bell bags for sale, and made sure my bag was created differently than theirs. My bags used to be #1 in a Google search and a top recommendation on Etsy for the year leading up to New Horizons. I have seen this image reposted without a link or credit all over the place since then. I couldn't make any sales on them anymore, especially since so many others started making them as well. I actually had to take my listing down because I'm too broke to buy the materials for them currently and have to work with only the yarn that I have on hand. I never meant to blame any sellers/makers for getting the upper hand. My point is I'm just SO frustrated that my images are being stolen and reposted over the years and I never get credit for anything anymore because I am now so small after New Horizons came out.
PS- these mushroom and frog bags are so cute, I WISH I KNEW WHO MADE THEM, lol
