i romanticise grocery shopping and cooking nice meals for yourself because i never used to have the energy for it. i romanticise drinking water because i never used to care about myself enough to make myself drink it. i romanticise showers because i never used to be able to psych myself into getting up to have one. i romanticise exercise because i used to treat it as a punishment or a price to pay. i romanticise tiny little every day things because i finally care about myself enough to do them and that’s wonderful. and i want to keep it up even when some days are hard.

Pipe sprung a leak in the bathroom the other day and the cat came and bothered me about it and I can't stop thinking about it. She doesn't know what a towel or a mop is but she knew there was an unauthorised fucking Wet and she trusted my ability to rectify the situation
