{yours is in my drafts, too! been waiting for my srs muse to kick in and she finally has xD HAHAHA WORK WHY ARE YOU A THING}
[YAY! Take your time. Seriously. I don't like rushing people. It makes me sad when I get rushed cause I'm all "But but but! LOOK AT THAT PERFECTION HOW CAN I MATCH IIIIIIIT?!"] [So seriously. I'm just happy your muse is working. <3 BUT YES. WORK SHOULD NOT BE A THING. IT IS FOUL AND MAKES ME CRY. One day when I have a castle, I will outlaw work. And then dysfunction and apathy will reign and I will regret everything.]
Urgh
[So. Work has kinda been kicking my ass.]
[I'm working on my drafts but I'm gonna be really slow and I'm so sorry. Also would anyone be so kind as to plot with me? I'd love to do something but I'm not only out of thoughts, but I'm honestly a little scared. It comes with the territory of "omgeveryoneissoawesomewhyamIhere?" So⦠Any takers? <3]

"I have a⦠father problem." Celebi shrugged. "I am not a runaway, but my father has become a madman and I wish to see his death. That is my only request."
The lordās smile turned into a grin. āIs that all? An asassination? A heavy toll coming from a child.ā He returned to a courtly smile. He could see the being before him had a fiery temper, and it only made it more intriguing. A family memberās sacrifice for service. The count made it simplistic, but there was much more to the servitude than he mentioned. Yet, even so, the child, as far as he could discern, was not entirely worthy of his gifts, and he did have many to give. "What is his name and where does he reside?" He asked, almost in a bored tone. Truly, this would be a simple task. A child wanting her father dead. It was almost too simplistic for the Countās desires.
Celebi became slightly agitated at being called a child, but she brushed it aside with a smile.
"His name is Gabriel Belmont." she replied, still smiling.
The count looked at the child curiously. "A belmont? You want me to kill a Belmont?" he smiled, just a little wider. "Your request is granted." He slowly pushed himself to his feet once more. It was an intriguing offer, for that he was certain. It did not surprise him that a Belmont would be offered to him as a sacrifice, but from its own child made it all the more delicious. "I find it most curious that this one did not make his presence known to me, but madness does much to an already mad clan." his face grimaced just slightly as he disrobed his cape, the fabric dematerializing into bats as it fell to the floor. "I do hope you have the whereabouts of this thorn. If he does not wish to seek his death, then he may be harder to find than imagined."
"The Castle is trapped within an eclipse. How would you propose that I summon it?" Soma asked, looking off to the distance. "And how can I be so certain that you are not using me to return to power? I want your word that those whom I truly care for⦠I want your word that Mina will remain unharmed."
Dracula initially looked surprised, and then returned to a somber expression. Mina was not a name he had heard in some time. It felt fitting, almost poetic. "Why would I choose to harm her?" he asked, a tint of puzzlement in his voice. "You are the lord of the castle. It's denizens will listen to you."Ā A half-truth. His servants all had free will, but power was what they listened to, and the power behind the castle had always been the Count. Even bodiless and mindless, the castle always would always listen to the spirit of the dark lord. "I will not harm her." He ended the conversation at that. "I would be more concerned about her being hunted. The longer we tarry, the longer your opposition has time to take her from you." The vampire's eyes turned to the horizon. "You simply must will it. Image the castle, and it shall be, brick by brick it will return to you. It is trapped, but within you is the key to unlocking the door. Will it to return, and it shall heed you."
Artist
Soma was unsure of how to answer that question. Even in these times, people were persecuted for being different. If you didnāt believe in God, you were branded a heretic and a heathen. Witches werenāt slaughtered, and yet the words they received were similar to dying a thousand times over.Ā Alchemists and sorcerers also fell into the same fate as the witches.
Humanity was at war against itself. Not in the physical sense, but they were using all manner of deceit and treachery to rid themselves of their enemies. Violence, verbal degradation, ridicule⦠and self-loathing.
And then there was Soma. The only one who was TRULY different. The human who housed Dracula - the one who could take everything away. The answer to humanityās cries for darkness.
"Iām not like they are⦠I will never be like they areā¦" he replied.
"Nor should you be." The dark doppelgƤnger retorted. His face now stern. Truly though, he was pleased with the boy's revelation. "Humans cannot govern themselves. They are fickle. They will endanger themselves to their own vices. They cloud themselves in their own self-righteousness to safeguard themselves from the truly powerful." A small smile came to the vampire lord's face as he brushed the boy's cheek. "You are stronger than they are. You have the power to rebuild the world in an image that gives equality to everyone. A world where those who must hide in the night could finally walk in the day, free from humankind's oppression." "A world where no one would seek to trap you or others like you. A world where you would be free to be among others without fear of being reviled! A world where you would never die by the blade of those you love!" He moved his hand to the youth's left wrist, extending his arm outwards to the distance. "Do you feel it? Do you feel the call of the Demon Castle? Summon it. Summon it back and begin again. Remake the world in a better image! Safeguard the ones you love from the treacheries of man! Safeguard the damned from persecution and death!" "Do you understand, boy? I am not a lord of death. I am not the unslakable blade! I sought only to protect, and you know how well humankind has treated me. You surely must know how they killed my wife. How they killed her in front of my own son! Do you wish the same to happen to anyone else? Do you wish the same to happen to you?" "Summon it. Bring back the Castle. Let humanity know its protector has come!"
I try to rape your son D

What is a man?: dominant-soul: amiserablepileofsecrets: dominant-soul:...
Ā Soma's triumphant smirk started to fade. Sad as it was to admit, the count was right. Since the events of 2035's solar eclipse, people never looked at him the same way. He was still the same person, truly. But when everyone learned that he was Dracula reincarnate, he was placed in a different light. He was essentially damned, viewed as a monster, considered dangerous, a threat.
Mina was the only person who still saw him the same way. Julius most likely would kill him if it meant keeping Dracula from returning to the world. And if Arikado hadn't forced Soma to awaken to what he truly was, maybe...
As the boy's light faded from his face, the vampire lord took to a grin. Fate had dawned on him. His hand gripped the boy's shoulder tighter, shifting the colors completely. Yet still, the shade of the vampire echoed the darkness, shifting and altering until it truly fit as the boy's shadow. The empty black silhouette remained empty save for two unnatural orbs. As the black cover flaked off the silhouette, the vampire's body altered int a new shape. A familiar shape.
"So you understand now." The count's voice had even been altered to match his vessel. "Try as you will. Your fate is already forged. No steel nor spell will change it. In the eyes of man, you will always be reviled as a monster. They will not understand you. Nor will they will try to." His hands, while still a pale white, became more gentle and less bony. "Humanity has marred you an enemy. You will always be such, no matter how hard you strive to walk in the sun with the rest. Do you truly believe humans had entered my servitude by slavery?" "They all came to me of their own will." he answered. "No one ever was forced into my walls. They serve, and loyally, for I am the only one willing to protect them. Do you think the church cares for those damned with Lycantropy? Do you believe the church does not condemn the alchemists, witches, and sorcerers that serve them?" "Humankind is ill with self-loathing. Those who differ are monsters because they fear you. They fear you for they know nothing of you. They will kill you for your skills. They will kill you for your perceived arrogance. They will kill you because you are not them." "So, boy. Why try to be them, when you already surpass them?"
"But Iām not even mortal. I told you that." Celebiās fangs showed at that moment, and she smirked. "I told you, Iām damned already, and so my soul is far beyond your grasp." her smirk faded, but her gaze remained. "However, if you can help me with a problem of mine, I may consider entering your service."
Yeah, right. Being the daughter of a Belmont who calls himself Dracul teaches you to be just as sneaky as your enemies. And she was going to use this to her advantage.
Draculaās face remained unimpressed. He could say much, and equally could have ended this charade with countless dark arts. The girl was at the heart of chaos itself, and the vampire spent his moments imaging the countless ways he could end this dribble. A smile came to his face as he thought of his favorite. His cells had long been without tenants, and it would be a great place to dismantle the childās teeth one by one before he rammed a pike through her skull. Unfortunately, it seemed she had one redeeming quality - Servitude. āWhat is it that plagues you, child?ā Equally, it had been just as long since he had made ādealsā such as this. He wouldnāt mention the fates of his last servants, but he was not a liar. He did give them their desires.
"I have a⦠father problem." Celebi shrugged. "I am not a runaway, but my father has become a madman and I wish to see his death. That is my only request."
The lord's smile turned into a grin. "Is that all? An asassination? A heavy toll coming from a child." He returned to a courtly smile. He could see the being before him had a fiery temper, and it only made it more intriguing. A family member's sacrifice for service. It was almost too simplistic for the Count's desires.
Ā A curt smile echoed the vampireās face. āWas that so painful a task for you?ā The vampire lord held his hand up, a chalice summoning to his own will from the aether.Ā "Tell me, my son. Are you thirsty? What can I bring you? There is much to discuss."
The dhampir lifted his head along with his gaze to glance at his fatherā¦the count. It was surprising to to hear how much this man, and monster wanted to desperately get to know the child that he thought was lost to him. D wouldnāt admit it to himself but he felt, content to have this knowledge. To finally know someone else out there cared for him, and desired to be in his presence.
How peculiar it is to witness that his vampiric brethren did not look down on him nor ostracize him like the mortals did. The only thing they were guilty of was not attempting to destroy the hunter first. He was treated like a god among his brethren. The ones he wanted to eliminate how ironic.Ā
"It dependsā¦what are you offering meā¦father?"
"Whatever pleases you." It was a simple answer. Dracula had always held a myriad of items for his guests. Unfortunately his guests often were men trying to kill him. A shame, but it was his fate.Ā "I do occasionally have human guests, Demetri. There are humans that wish to change mankind. Do you think I take this stance because I enjoy bloodshed?" He paused and took a sip from his golden cup. "The world is not as black and white as humans wish it to be. There is never a simple answer to any query. Most use do not wish to search for the truth. Most do not have the lifespan to do so." He paused and examined the other. "But tell me, my boy. What do you think of them? Humans and their endeavors."
I want to torture D
"A shame you shan't be living long enough to do so."Ā
why do you treat D like shit
"Wherein did I mistreat my son?" The count smirked. Clearly the greyface had no idea of what he had started here.
Dadcula should be your tag for stuff with his "children" and children.
[AGREED]
dominant-soul replied to your post: āI sincerely hope you all enjoyed yourā¦
"You wonāt ruin anything while Iām around."
"Are you truly willing to risk your words?"
"Yeah, Iām willing to risk my words. Iām willing to risk everything."
A cold laugh echoed behind him. āYou are a most entertaining vessel. I would ask your name, but yours is of no consequence.ā His fanged grin continued āYou only have but a mere sliver of my power. Imagine, if your mind is capable, of how much more you could be. Of how much more there is left!ā "And youāre only a neck above water. Imagine when the floodgates of darkness break. Where will your precious friends be then? Certainly they would come to your aid. But what will happen when there broken bodies are before you, alive and wishing for the end?" "I will keep you awake. I will let you watch as I drain each and every one of them. And when their souls are mine, I will crush them in the weight of my power, and you will be there to witness it!"Ā
"You would need to break me yourself to get a chance like that." Soma smirked. "My will is stronger than yours. More dominant, you could say. Thatās why Iām in the sunlight, in the world among humans⦠and youāre still confined to my shadow."
"Break you? Child, you are already broken. Your misguided path is not your own. You are anything but strong." The vampire happily emerged from the boy's shade, grasping a firm hand on his shoulder. The whites surrounding his clothes turning to gray, and then to a firm black. "Look at yourself. You think you are special because you have inherited a singular aspect of my will. You think that by defeating others like yourself, you become greater, somehow become able to surmount the hand fate has delivered you." Red eyes glimmered as the tall count edged closer to Soma's ear. "I am always here. Somewhere in your heart, you gave me space to reside. There is a darkness in you, and though you may wish to walk in the sun, the night is where you belong. You think my son is any different? He too strives to be something he simply is not. I have failed to guide him, and he, in turn, fails to guide you." The vampire's lips pursed to a gentle grin. "You believe the Belmont has your best interest at heart? Do you truly think he won't kill you to prevent me from returning? Why else would he have you so close? He is not your friend. It is not your camaraderie that keeps you. It is your ties. He knows you will fail. He knows it's only a matter of when, and not if. If he keeps you close, he can monitor you. Warden you to a prison of your own fragile mind's design." "What you have is a false dream to keep the truth from becoming too much for you to bear. He will kill you as you are now, in the moment of your greatest vulnerability. Do not fool yourself, boy. Humans do not, and cannot trust creatures of the night. Simply ask my son what his trust in humankind has earned him. He belongs in neither world. His only company is the confused, the damned, and the forlorn. Search their hearts if you must. But you know there is truth in my words."
