A Feraligatr looks down at the Totodile. "Whats up little guy? I'm Chompy. Who're you?"
Finley gulped. Wow, that’s a big gator he thought to himself, eyes scanning Chompy’s appearance.
“Uhhh, hey!” He finally spoke up but seemed a little nervous. At least the Feraligatr seemed nice though! “My name’s Finley.”

Can’t find good quality pictures of the Totodile in Detective Pikachu??? Neither could I do enjoy these badly cropped screenshots from my computer!
Baeby want SNACK
Upon touching the Golden Apple, bursts of sight and sound would flash in the Totodile’s mind. Of a small green pokemon with two red flowers on its head filling a wicker basket with large, shining apples. Of that same pokemon then clumsily tripping over a pebble with a “WAHH!”. The basket went tumbling, and so did the apples, one landing with a splash in the nearby river, bobbing up to the surface as it floated downstream. Guess that was how such a rare item ended up in Waterfall Cave.
Finley shook his head after the scream, his eyes blinking him back into existence. If it wasn’t for the sudden interruption, the Totodile would’ve devoured the apple whole already.
“Huh.” Finley gave curious eyes down at the Golden Apple, feeling almost sorry that another Pokemon had misplaced it. Is it still okay to eat...? Great, he feels bad now.

“Man I’m hungry. Is dinner ready yet?” Finley groaned, his stomach growling as it seemed to ignore all of the snacking that had been done throughout the day.

“Are you okay?” Cerise tilted her head slightly, looking over the seemingly shocked creature. Her hand moved quickly to a little bag on her belt and she pulled out an oran berry, holding it out to the small Pokemon with a gentle smile. “Here- are you hungry? You can take it…I promise I’m not going to hurt you.”
Shoot! This was his chance! Finally, there’s another human who might be able to help him out! Finley huffed in frustration, but was soon completely distracted by the Oran Berry that was held out to him. Of course his love for those blue delights would distract him!
He reached out for the berry and quickly plopped it into his mouth, a wide smile now showing on the young Totodile’s features as he gave a sound of pure joy.

[⚡] Rai came to a stop at the sudden voice that called out behind him. He glanced behind him to see a Totodile there. In his paw was an Oran Berry. For a brief moment, he was confused about if the Water-type was talking to him or not, but considering red eyes were looking at him, he knew it was aimed at him.
“Oh, um..” The Pikachu thought for a moment. He paused to look through his bag to see if he had dropped the berry. Upon realizing that it was missing, he made his way over to the other Pokemon. “Y-Yeah, it is, thank you…”
“No worries!” Finley spoke happily, even if he really wished it hadn’t belonged to the Pikachu. Oran berries were just so good that they were hard to resist. He may not have even realized that he had started drooling. That’s not weird, right?
“I’m Finley by the way! Nice to meet ya!”

She’d been wandering about for some time. Though many people yelled at her for it, she had her friends out of the Pokeballs and at her side. She and Mew had been talking mind to mind just as they always did. It was a really beautiful day out.
She was distracted– Eyes more focused on the beautiful scenery. She’d never seen the beach before. She wasn’t even certain how they’d ended up there, but it was nice. The sand felt weird between her toes. It wasn’t like concrete or grass. It was soft, warm, squishy-! The sound of the waves crashing on the shore was also interesting. It was LOUD– It hurt her ears just a bit but it was also strangely comforting–
011 – STOP
As commanded she stopped dead in her tracks, snapping back to reality, Eyes darted to where Mew usually sat hovering over her left shoulder- Where did- She looked around, eyes falling on the small Totodile. A gasp- She crouched down to look at him, head tilting to a side. She glanced at Mew, whom she hoped could communicate for her.
–ARE YOU LOST?–
The young Totodile’s eyes grew wide when he was called out to. Most would probably suspect him to be shocked at the appearance of Mew itself, but no. Finley’s eyes were glued to the other human. This is definitely nowhere near Treasure Town.
He gulped, quickly shaking his head to bring himself back into reality. A human-! Another HUMAN!! A smile grew on Finley’s features as he let out a sound of joy, yet tears would quickly start pouring from his eyes. A huge mix of emotions came over him as he ran up to the girl, but ended up tripping over his own feet right in front of her.
No words were spoken, he barely even knew what to say! He had been lost in a world with no other humans for so long. Maybe, just maybe, now he can find someone to understand his predicament.
Send me “It was just a dream!” to wake my muse from a nightmare.
