Dude, the Hazbin Hotel comic gets me. Like. I love it. Seeing Angel Dust feel confident and badass behind a gun, then tired after a long day of working, and his hesitation and self doubt when faced with the offer of redemption and bettering himself (even if his official reason for taking the offer is to get a free place to live and eat, you know that the idea of leaving his abusive pimp was definitely on his mind, and the idea of not having to be forced to fuck wasn't far behind I'm sure). I love seeing this glimpse into his personality, the parts he's careful to hide from Hell.

But my favourite part of the comic, the thing that I think shows us a lifetime of backstory in one image, is from this last page:

The devil's in the details. That last pannel.

The box of d*ldos that used to be labeled as "FOR FUN ♡" has been crossed out, replaced with "WORK SHIT".

How sad, to imagine that he used to genuinly enjoy being a s*x worker, really just living his best spider life, but then Valentino comes into his life, his p*mp, offered him great opportunities and then... Sucked the fun out of something he genuinly used to find fun.

I dunno man, that just fucked me up to think about.
