You can acknowledge that Angel is a consenting adult for whom sex work is his chosen profession, and subsequently chose to work for Valentino (though even that is a grey area yet to be confirmed) and that sex work is a legitimate profession that should not be criminalized, while also recognizing that Valentino is a bastard man who exploits and abuses his employees. And that Angel deserves better than the controlling and abusive work conditions that Valentino inflicts in order to weaponize their power imbalance as overlord versus average demon and boss versus employee, which all culminates in Angel being disenfranchised.
