Headcanon: (Late)Mothers Day Special

Even though Kalahan’s mother believes he’s dead and he hasn’t had contact with her in years Kalahan still tries to watch over her and take care of her without her knowing. Kalahan loves his mother dearly which is why he’s never inserted himself back into her life. He thinks it would be too dangerous for her. But he wants to make sure she’s safe and happy still even if he can’t enter into her life. So he watches from the sidelines, slipping her money when she needs it and “taking care of” anyone that tries to cause her trouble. Every mothers day he leaves a bouquet of flowers for her and a reassuring note along with money for her.
