"You are the only one to ever put any faith in me" makes me cry.
"He goes on about her all the time, 'bout how clever she is" fuels my belief that they are endgame. (S6E3)
Finally finished that little edit I posted awhile back! Needed some happy ScarNash vibes 🥲 @youdontneedhenry
6x03
It has been a long time since I’ve posted anything on this tag. But I just watched episode three of season six. And Patrick Nash, the man you are. He sent half of London (and Moses) on a wild goose chase after a diamond that was never actually there. All of that just for him to go to Southampton to see Eliza.
Poor Clarence probably has to deal with long-term consequences (like not knowing where half of his things are anymore), Moses has missed some very important quality time with his wife, and Alexander now has a complex about Patrick and Eliza’s relationship (considering she lied for him, even though she would probably do that for other people too ngl).
Thoroughly enjoyable episode overall, and I can’t wait to see him back on screen next season :)
Must have Scarnash hi jinx
"I've heard of your agency, Mr Nash, and the means by which you and your men investigate. I hear blackmail is your favorite tool."

Eliza’s true love! She just doesn’t know it yet. But she will in season 7.
like!!!
The way the writers managed to avoid giving Eliza Scarlet even an ounce of character development or experience a single consequence for her actions for 5 seasons only to over night make her a different person so they could end the show on a romance that happened off screen in a magically better world where none of the previous seasons problems exist honestly ruined the show for me.
Oh Hotel St. Marc the episode that you are
Oh wow, please watch 6x03 when you can! The Scarnash crumbs are amazing 💖
OH that is so good to know thank you!!! I've been going back and forth on whether I should catch up or preserve the version of the show that exists in my brain (the last episode I saw was 5x04) but I cannot resist the Scarnash crumbs. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine they would imply that Patrick/Eliza could be read as more than friends, even to deny it lol

Don’t mind me just thinking about them always
Been thinking a lot about this moment and how Patrick chooses Eliza—he listens to her and doesn’t ruin his own life, entirely, in the end. He already messed everything up by taking it this far, but he does eventually do the right thing for both their sakes.
It’s my personal head canon that he doesn’t entirely understand how much Eliza cares about him, and that’s why he even does all this. He’s been on his own for so long, he’s forgotten what it’s like to make decisions not just with yourself in mind.
I wouldn’t want to change this trajectory or this moment- it’s high stakes enough that Eliza has to be vulnerable and open with her feelings when she wouldn’t be otherwise (yet). The realization on Patrick’s face that Eliza really does value their friendship. It’s great. But I do wish they hadn’t actually sent him to prison. The show could have hand waived it away so easily but instead chose to write his character into a corner and cut off what we could have had (them working together forever 😭).
I dunno. Nothing has been as satisfying as this arc and I maintain that getting people to watch this show for scarnash would have been so easy! It’s an enemies to friends to lovers arc that wrote itself and still they didn’t go for it. Aaahh.
"No doubt, I'm sure you have expensive taste." "Actually, I don't."
