my heart hurts.
why do i even try.
I want him to suffer as I have suffered. I think I could fit the sky inside the hole he made in me.
Nicola Maye Goldberg, from “A Woman Surveys a Treacherous Mountain Pass,” published in Nailed Magazine (via lifeinpoetry)
I feel like shit
I used to be pretty, when you thought I was, I’m not pretty anymore because you never compliment me, I’m not good anymore because you don’t talk to me as often. I’m sorry and I’m sorry.. It’s not as if things are going horribly; I could go either way any minute, and I was trying so hard to be healthy until I heard you were back on drugs and I decided I didn’t care about life anymore I just want to relapse and I did, I was trying to beat my eating disorder because you said I wasn’t healthy, but then I heard you liked skinny girls I wanted to wake up to see the sun rise and stay up to see it set until I saw you slept most of the day away I was going to get a GED until you went to college I was good before you said you liked bad. I was bad until you said I was good. I’m so sorry.

you know it’s bad when someone asks you for a sob story and your first thought is oh shit which one.
me being ignored (now that i am mature): this is fine i suppose
this is a lie im on the verge of tears
someone: why are you sad?
me: my man u r not ready for this conversation
you know it’s bad when you decide you’d rather go back to when you had an eating disorder rather than live like whatever you are. lol!
conclusion: it means nothing after all and i’m more depressed than i was before.
i can’t tell them all that i’m proud because that would include her.
i don't need to change. i just need new friends.
i can’t show anyone that i can be nice either because NO ONE TALKS TO ME.
AND THE ONLY WAY PEOPLE WILL TALK TO ME IS IF I’M NICE.
BUT I CAN’T. be. nice. imagine if i did. “wow sofie this is so unlike you! you’ve really changed!” I DON’T WANT TO CHANGE ANY MORE.
that was like. LEVEL 10 HUMILIATION. i can’t. ooooooh my god.
i don’t want to change anymore but either way sucks.
i can either be someone i’d make fun of or i can be someone i’d make fun of.
