hot take: if you say the words "hot take" and then don't immediately follow it up with the most goddamn brilliant shit I've ever heard, I'm probably not gonna listen
The reason our account has a lot of shifting blogs following it
TL;DR: we were in the shifting community before we found out we were a system, left the shifting community due to some 4nti-3ndo shit.
Full story below the cut.

CWs for: swearing, possible unreality (mentions shifting a lot, so I wanna be safe), mentions of religion, a strict mother, Republican viewpoints (sort of) and 4nti-3ndo bullshit. Also this story is hella long, so.
(If you need us to tag smth DM or send us an ask; we want this account and our posts to be a safe space for /gen)
With all of that out of the way, let's get down to business (to defeat, the Huns /ly)
So for awhile one of our members (and some of us) were a part of the shifting community. This was before we knew we were a system, before we knew. Well, really just anything about ourselves, tbh.
We were still little babies (not literally) bumbling around, trying to figure out how Tumblr worked because we were new to almost any social media ever.
(our body's egg donor was very.... Um, not good about letting us have privacy or access to any internet outside of what she deemed appropriate.)
(A list of what she deemed appropriate: FOX news, maybe some cat videos, Instagram [with a lot of restrictions] and Christian hairstyle tutorials. I am serious. She was hella strict and Religious™)
If you scroll down in our account, you'll see a lot of pre-awareness us interacting with shifting accounts. Yeah, that's because we were a part of that community. "Were" being the key word here.
So once we started finding out more about ourselves, the more we wanted to express it.
As we've mentioned, we're a quoigenic system and endo-supportive. We made ourselves a system account and shared it openly on our shifting account so our friends could see.
We (foolishly) thought all of Shiftblr™ would be accepting.
At the time we were in a roleplay Minecraft server made by some folks from Shiftblr. We goofed off in there mostly, and it was fun.
And then we got kicked because of a sudden, shiny new rule. "No Endo systems". Which is really rich coming from a place that promotes going to another reality! (I'm not yelling at anyone who believes in shifting btw, believe what you want. Hell, we still sort of believe in it.)
(also what's funny is that we're.. not even endogenic; we're quoigenic. those are two different labels entirely. Quoigenic isn't even under the endogenic umbrella in some cases; at least, that's how we see it. So it's so absolutely fucking wild to us that we got kicked for it.)
We still don't know their motivations for it all.
We don't know why the rule was suddenly added; we don't know why a place that promoted positivity around others beliefs and the idea of other realities would suddenly whip around and snap at us because they thought we were endo.
It's just.. so fucking weird. We don't understand it, and.. it's just hard to grasp that a community we were a part of for so fucking long is possibly hostile to us for a really shitty reason.
Anyways, yeah. We nearly fully left the shifting community, and we probably won't be back, ever.
Thanks, shiftblr. You gave us some great memories while it lasted. /half-sarcastic
