At approximately 8:50 in the morning, Charity stumbled into Flourish and Blotts with her hair a frizzy mess and her clothes ruffled. She, being engrossed in her latest favorite read–poetry by muggle poet Walt Whitman–had completely lost track of the night, and had missed her alarm. This had…

Amos was travelling, minding his own business, well.. not travelling… more like strolling. He had visited Hogwarts, and his glorious house of Hufflepuff. Boy had he missed that house, and undergraduates too! He saw his crush Marin.. and taught off bullies who still hated him. It was almost like he never left, ever.

Well, he was travelling, err… strolling, when he saw a fantastic shop..the shop had windows that looked like they were just washed..a nice bright awning over the roof, hehad never seen such a shop. He got a closer look and realized his old favorite plant shop got a makeover!

He walked slowly inside and looked around, eyeing plant after plant, from Venus fly trap to those weird vines ones.. he felt like s little kid in a candy store! Except he was Amos.. and this was well, a plant store.

“Charity?” 

The frizzy head popped out from behind a taller stack of books to look at one of the other employees, who seemed to be nursing a nasty paper cut.

“I need you to go to that store down the street and get me a few things.”

At this point, she sighed, “I really can’t right now, Harold, I have all these books to get though, and it’s hardly even noon…”

“I will pay you five galleons if you do this for me.” Harold replied quickly, causing Charity to roll her eyes, “Ten?” reached a similar response, “Twenty?” rendered the girl to drop her stack of books to the floor and race over to him.  Money, for her, was tight, after all–she was trying to balance muggle rent on top of her book costs and other things, so the prospect of twenty galleons that would perhaps keep her going for another few days was a brilliant one.  Harold handed over the list and enough wizard money to pay for the objects on the list, with the promise that the twenty galleons would come after she returned.

And with that, Charity walked down Diagon Alley to the shop in question.  She wasn’t really used to being around so many plants, and the amount shocked her when she first stepped inside, but soon she began pick out the items on the list she’d been given.  At the same time, she tried to be quick and delicate.  If someone with more authority than Harold took note of her absence, she very well could’ve lost her job, and she definitely didn’t want to topple anything.

Amos found a little wilted Venus Flytrap, and picked it up, taxing with admiriation. He liked bringing plants back to life, animals too. He once nurtured these baby birds when their mama died. He heard the little bell that rang when the doors opened ding. He liked the sound.. Ding ding ding ding! He chuckled to himself, amused by the little bell.

"Sir, how much is this plant?" ,Amos asked the cashier, who he thought was named Curtis. "That ol' thing? You can have it!", Curtis exclaimed, waiving his arm. "Really!? Thanks Sir!", Amos exclaimed with his goofy grin. He almost rushed out when he saw a familiar face and thick,Blondel, curly hair.

Amos rushed over and waved, his grin goofy as ever. "Oh hi Charity! Nice seeing you here.. I never knew you liked plants!" He held out his Venus flytrap, "cool huh? I'm gonna name him da foo like the plant off 'Little Shop Of Horrors'!"
