( Lucifer) " Sister, what is this called again?" he held out cotten candy to her with a curious look and a small smile. " What do humans call this?"
"I'm not actually sure. I don't bother eating much. Is it a type of fruit or something?" She reached out and pinched a piece off to try without bothering to ask. He wasn't capable of staying mad at her anyways. "Oh...that definitely isn't fruit."

I hadn't really considered it; I like every color. If we're going by the human range of sight, I suppose I'd choose gold or silver.

14. My muse left yours, promising it would be only for a couple of minutes. They come back in a couple of years.
Lucifer could only vaguely remember the last time he saw her. It had been so very, very long ago. Years upon years, and she’d been so young– He’d promised he’d only be gone for a little while, just a quick trip down to earth…
At the time, he’d had no idea what chaos would have transpired from everything. That he’d never make it back to her.
Not until finding her on earth now. .
“Amriel.” Her name even sounded a little strange as he said it, but Lucifer knew, beyond a shadow of doubt, that it was her.
Admittedly, Amriel had been briefed on what to do in this moment. To do battle with Lucifer, the big bad, the monster they portrayed him as. And maybe he was everything they had told her. Maybe the fall had changed him beyond recognition. But here in the shock of the moment she could only stare up at him.
He looked different than she remembered. He presence was still massive, yet he seemed, dulled. Tarnished. But it was still him. That same aura that radiated light and power; that had once left most of the younger angels standing in awe of him.
Perhaps it was the shock of seeing him after all this time, or perhaps the familiarity of his presence had lowered her defenses, but she quite foolishly burted out "What took you so long?!" Which was both an obvious answer, and probably not the wisest think to shout at someone that could easily obliterate you.
(( Luci)) "" AMI! oh gosh---i have to tell you something that Micheal told me! " He just appeared before her in the dead of the night and appeared on her bed. " Sister!! oh sister!""
“Tell me what? What happened?” Amriel wasn’t at all surprised at his sudden appearance in her appartment. She sat up from where she had been lounging on the bed with a fashion magazine.
“ What’s that first of all?!” pointing at her fashion magazine, Lucifer’s tone was terrified; it’s just that — heaven doesn’t know what ’ fashion’ is or ‘magazine’ is and yes Lucifer had no idea what fashion was. Jumping off her bed and fluttering off to a corner of her room. “ What are you—–?”
Amriel looked at him as if he’d lost his mind. “What’s what? The magazine…?” She started laughing at his odd reaction.
“It’s sort of like a little book. You read it, but there’s also lots of pictures. It’s how I keep track of all the new styles of clothes the humans invent.” Giving her brother an amused smile, she waved the magazine at him.
“Don’t you ever read anything the humans write? You can look through it if you want.”
“ Yes! of course. that! I’ve never seen such a thing sister! ” Remaining in the same spot and still pointing the magazine, Lucifer nodded very quickly. “ ……—- Styles, little book? it’s a …. human invention? ” looking at her as if the archangel hadn’t understood any of that so tiltled his head. “ Um? no? Heaven doesn’t know — this — odd write? why would anybody even read that??? ”
“Haven’t you been on earth for like…thousands of years now? Do you just avoid all of humanity?” She wasn’t all that surprised, really. For her it was something of a hobby. But who knows what he’d been dealing with or been up to since his fall. But honestly, who was afraid of a magazine? Amriel rolled her eyes at him.
“It’s just for fun, brother. Something to fill the time. Hiding out down here gets kinda…boring really.” She set the glossy magazine aside with a shrug.
“I generally avoid the humans, but they make some interesting things. It really is just some colorful paper. You don’t have to hide over there…”
“ Well yes, of course Amriel —- but yes? yeah why wouldn’t why i ever since my exile? they stink, we’re father’s worst creation.” Lucifer said in a tone which said. ‘ um? of course???’ . “
“ Time? what’s that?, what does one do with that?” He gave her a bewildered expression again was something he’d never heard of, as it was heaven had heard of. “ Sister why must you be so confusing? introduce all these—— confusing things?, i do not understand.”
“Brother, it’s just a bit of paper. It’s not like I’m living like a human.” She huffed and rolled her eyes. Trying to appease him, she tossed the magazine aside.
“Remember when we used to primp and preen and adorn ourselves in Heaven? How you always taught me to look my best when I was younger? It’s...sort of like that. The humans wear cloth and metal and all sorts of things, and I like some of those things. Our earthly forms look like theirs, so I like to wear some of what they make.” Part of her was worried he’d be disgusted by her collecting and wearing human clothes and shoes and jewelry. But she was just trying to do what he’d taught her to do as a fledgling. She was trying to look pretty. To decorate herself.

"Brotherrrrrrrr..." She pokes Lucifer with her wing. "You should sing me a soooooong... I mean, I assume you still remember how?" Teasingly she sticks her tongue out at him and makes a face.
“ Me what about me?” He was sitting in a tree, well now he’s not. “ What did i do now?”
“What, you think you need to owe me to sing to me?” She rolled her eyes at him. “You can’t just sing for your favorite little sister?” Amriel made her best puppy eyes. She wasn’t little anymore but maybe it would still work…?
He thought for a minute getting a good look at her it’s been so look since he’s really seen her,blue eyes and blonde hair, a large wingspan; Lucifer had never at all noticed. However —- this was her favorite little sister, oh yes, yes the archangel looked at the ground and almost felt like—— like praying then Lucifer found his words. “ Yes—– but—- “ almost in a whisper. “ Amriel- our father it’s been so long since anybody has —– has asked me to do that since my exile………it’s been so long sister.”
Amriel stared back at him a moment, feeling like he was searching the very core of her being. With a soft sigh she hopped down from the tree, using her wings to slow her descent. She tentatively sat next to him on the ground, using one wing to shelter Lucifer from the sun. "It has been a long time. Ages. But I miss your singing. You always would sing to me when I was upset or scared. Or you would sing with me for lessons. Or just for fun."
Her expression grew bitter as she spoke her next words. "I don't care what Father thinks. You are meant to sing."
(( and here's something from Micheal) "Amriel,sister. Hello there i dare ask what business do you have in heaven"
"I...um...I..." Amriel froze, staring up at her sister. Michael was and always had been intimidating. Pulling herself together, she squared her shoulders.
"I'm checking on my Thrones. They are my angels and my responsibility after all." She cocked her head slightly. "Am I not supposed to be here now?"

Having simply fallen out of a tree and now just laying on the ground, looking up at her for a minute with a puzzled expression. "I---do?--- You want me? to sing after all these eons?, these years---- a---- after all that?"
Seeing her brother fall from the tree made Amriel squawk in shock. She peered down at him, checking to see if he was alright. Sure, a little drop couldn't hurt an Archangel, but she was still concerned. "Yes...? Is that alright?"
The mood had shifted from playful to unfamiliar ground. "I've missed your voice. You used to sing to me a lot." She tucked her wings in closer to body, unsure of herself.
"Brotherrrrrrrr..." She pokes Lucifer with her wing. "You should sing me a soooooong... I mean, I assume you still remember how?" Teasingly she sticks her tongue out at him and makes a face.
" Me what about me?" He was sitting in a tree, well now he's not. " What did i do now?"

Amriel arrived at the appointed meeting place, wearing her full armor with her hand resting on her sword hilt, standing tall. "Do you have a plan, Michael?"
Appearing with what seemed to be a flap of pure white wings much larger then Amriel’s of course, tall sure of herself, why of course Micheal knew she had beauty which she didn’t acknowledge. “ It seems you wish to join my garrison as Lucifer has lost his. If so why are you wearing full armor sister? we will be merely training nothing more. “
Amriel blushed in embarrassment. She had assumed she was expected to wear her armor, since Michael was in every way the ideal warrior and strict commander. Surely it was better to be prepared in case they were expected to go straight into battle? Or to spar? But Amriel has misjudged the situation. “ I wasn’t so sure…so I wore it just in case.”
Quickly looking her over then nodded,An almost smile spread her face at least Amriel tried, Micheal really did appreciate that they really did. “ I appreciate your effort sister. It’s always been something that would be good in an army–- a garrison probably. Always being ready is a very valuable skill sister.” giving her a little pat on the shoulder as a way to say. ‘ You’ve done well’ , “ As i was saying, shall we get on with training?”
Amriel was quietly pleased with the praise from her sister. She did her best not to visibly preen, but her wings still arched slightly and she had to hide a smile.
"What are we doing today? Sword training?" The younger angel rested her hand on the hilt of her heavily decorated blade. It was the only weapon she had been trained in, and even then she'd never used it in battle.

“No I don’t! I’m a PRINCE. I don’t have to answer to you!” She stomped her foot and flared her wings, glaring at him.
“Prince? more like princess sister.” Peering a little behind her wings a little bit above—- above her wings. “ Well, well you just listen to me for a minute Amriel?” Then backed off a bit . “ More like—a star! – a star that shines in the nightly sky — a star of or father sister.” He smiled a little.
Amriel’s sudden rage dissipated nearly as quickly as it had reared it’s nasty head. Hearing her brother’s praise usually was enoughto sooth her. Some of his ego had rubbed off on the younger angel over the years. Her wings lowered half way as she gave Lucifer a chance to speak. Raising a young angel could prove as trying and rocky as dealing with a human adolescent at times.
“I am a Prince. Princess. Whatever.” She grumbled. “I have to be respected. Michael said so, or else the Thrones will never listen to me.” Amriel pouted up at her brother, wings dropping further. “I’d rather be a star. Stars don’t have to fulfill endless roles and duties. They just have to shine.” She sighed. The younger angel was finally listening now, waiting for her brother to speak.
That made Lucifer smile a little because they could tell. Amriel had some of his pride and arrogance, which did annoy others from time to time. This was why it pleased him so the fact he wasn’t the only one with both things deeply pleased Lucifer.
Why wouldn’t somebody want to be a ’ mini him’? as Micheal put it, that which somebody acts like you. He was extremely beautiful, and why wouldn’t it be a bad thing for one to act similar to him? They were beauteous and shouldn’t Amriel want to be that? That was a great way to be. Okay so he was kind too but beauty was the key thing.
“ Oh, of course you’re lovely sister. The most sparkling, shiny stars Amriel do you not hear me? "ignoring what everything else she said really because why not. ” You’re not a prince! not anything else. You’re a princess not as far as i can see.“
Like anyone, Amriel had picked up some of the best traits and some of the worst traits from those that had raised her. With Lucifer being her main caretaker, she had learned much from him. Including her love of fashion and music, but also her vanity and pride. She also felt it was a good thing. Her big brother was amazing, why wouldn't she want to be like him?
The more he flattered her, the more she was distracted and soothed. Luci knew how to calm her. "I do sparkle like a star... But I'm still a Princess. I'll still be a leader someday. Like you are. And like Michael is."
