“ You said once that your kitchen was always open to friends. “
And he certainly hopes that that statement still rang true, as he’s fairly certain a drive back to Wolf trap now would wind up killing him, and he really has no interest in paying for a hotel. What he needed was some coffee, some food, and he hopes the offering of farm fresh eggs and a bottle of rose is enough to counter act the fact that he was here near 5 AM.
At least, oddly enough, it seemed like Hannibal was awake.
“ Did -- Did you just wake up? “
We don’t know what nightmares lie coiled beneath Will’s pillow.
It's a terrible feeling, waking up when you realize that your feet have gone and walked off with you, without your permission, that feeling is significantly doubled when the first thing you can remember before hand was stepping off of a rather short flight. So it's with a start, and a short gasp that Will comes back to himself, no bag, no suitcase, but at least his shoes were still on this time. But the winter chill has him shaking and his hands numb. He can only guess that he's been walking for hours with how little he can feel of his body, despite the winter coat and thick thermal jeans. There's something ahead of him, lights, stories tall, drifting in and out of the snow in a way that almost made him doubt their existence. But he could see the shape of a well trimmed hedge, the daunting spikes and metal work of an overly expensive front gate. The panic that had been coming off of him in waves for the last few seconds of full consciousness has all but gone now, replaced by a small amount of fear and great heaping of confusion. The house couldn't be that far off, he'd walked out into somewhere beyond the suburbs. So he continues on towards the lights, severely wishing it were his own little house, alone in the white sea of snow, but fully aware that he was hundreds of miles away now.
" You said it was my choice. I wanted to go fishing. This isn't fishing. You don't fish with a rifle. Did you want me to go hunting for a reason, Dr. Lecter? "

Thank you, Bryan Fuller.
Don’t they have meds for people with migraines? Other than aspirin or ibuprofen? Because I’m pretty sure with that temp you’ve got that you’re going to need something much stronger than what you’re taking. You’ve got an infection somewhere, that’s clear. Have you seen a doctor? { she drops her hand the instant he flinches, her fingers barely making it to his skin; but she doesn’t need to touch him to know he’s hot to the touch. } Sorry, I didn’t mean to do that.
I'm uh, I'm not very good at socializing.
[ And he's not very good at taking medical advice either, especially considering that he'd been told his head was clear. Nothing in the scan and nothing in the blood work. Will closes his eyes and listens, he listens to the rush of blood though his veins and the pounding of his heart in his ears. He listens to the sound of his breath and the workings of his throat as he swallows.
Will listens and becomes more and more aware of his own body. He grounds himself in the moment, an attempt not to open his eyes again and be somewhere completely different. ]
I've been to a doctor. There's nothing wrong. I just get really bad migraines.
