so um hey
video games are addicting as fuuuck
headcanon: being surrounded by students and teachers for even the hour he spends teaching wears Hex out pretty quickly. He enjoys teaching students what he knows but having to talk for at least an hour or more, to have to constantly be interacting with the students and other teachers that he’s with can get exhausting, especially for someone who regularly closes himself off from the world. Not to mention he constantly has to keep his own temper in check and act gentlemanly all the time just to hold onto his job. Being an ex-criminal does keep him on thin ice, and not just with his superiors either, the moment he makes a mistake, Hex is convinced he’ll lose what he worked so hard to get.
So at the end of the day the old man is gonna be burned out. Even with his beat up home he enjoys getting to recharge at the end of the day and getting to spend some time to himself. He’ll throw on one of his hooded outfits, chuck his shoes to the wayside and make himself something nice to eat and just relax for a bit.
