Just typing my thoughts down. Teaghan’s friend’s, 2 sisters, got the amazing gift of Taylor Swift Tickets for Christmas. It was the “BIG” gift.
It was so sweet and one asked Teaghan if she wanted to go. Her parents had been able to get the 8 allowed tickets, so each girl ended up inviting 2 friends and the girls mom invited me.
So for 5 months these girls have planned and were so excited to see Taylor perform her 13th time at Gillette stadium. IYKYK
This Friday things took a turn. Suddenly those tickets “may” have an issue. So I kept a happy face on and finally had to tell her there “may” be a problem Saturday night.
So here we are Sunday. I had to send Teaghan to Gillette Stadium with now only 3 of the original 8 people that were supposed to go. If my daughter can attend her 1st concert if I don’t go. Then I won’t. Still being told we wouldn’t know until closer to the start time if things were fixed for 4 of them. They had to drive to the stadium because it was too far away to not go if things worked out. I read stories all weekend of this happening to kids. KIDS!!!
I last saw Teaghan with hope in her eyes. A new LOVER necklace on her neck. Trying to stay positive that things would work out. They went and waited for hours. Things didn’t work out.
Watching tickets be available on all the re-sale APP’s for $$$$ a ticket while my 15 year old and her friends sat on the ground outside that stadium hoping the tickets they believed they had since Christmas would be fixed on time was just wrong.
I got her back heartbroken for her friends and the other girls who thought for 5 months they would see TaylorSwift in concert. One, a twin who’s sister had already gone. It’s just not right. I am heartbroken for them all. The kids, the parents, having to tell your friends what happened. Worst 1st concert experience ever.
